2025 MOST INSPIRING TEACHERS OF THE PHILIPPINES
(Recognizing the Inspiring and Influential Efforts of aTeacher)
The Saceda Youth Lead (SYL) will conduct the National Search for the 2025 SYL Most Inspiring Teachers of the Philippines from November 2024-April 30, 2025. The MIT focuses on the theme “Through Our Teachers, We See the Future of Our Country, and Through Their Deeds, We Prosper as a Nation”. The Search aims:
(1) To recognize inspiring and committed teachers who have contributed to nation building; and (2) ) To develop them to become agents of personal and societal transformation using their sacrifices, struggles and aspirations for stronger Filipino families, safer Filipino communities and a more robust Filipino nation.
The criteria for the Search are as follows:
1. LICENSED PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS in the Philippines teaching in all educational levels (elementary, high school, college, technical and vocational schools) both private and public- CHED, DepEd and TESDA.
2. Teacher who has a professional license to teach specific expertise such as Commercial Pilot and Aviation, Nautical Science, Executive Education;
3. Teacher who educates and empowers the Philippine Military and staff, the National and Civil Defense.
4. A TRAINER or FACILITATOR in the Philippines who teaches and empowers communities on CPR, First Aid, Disaster Preparedness, Emergency, Protocols, Human Rights, Gender and Development, Leadership;
5. A PROFESSIONAL who is still involved in education and training may he/she be a part time instructor in other public and private schools; or who use the arts and drama, environment, social media and sports (Coaches) as a tool to educate and empower the Filipino people.
6. The nominees are Filipino citizens who have been teaching in the Philippines or Filipino teachers who are teaching abroad for the past 5-10 years.
7. The nominees can be foreign teachers who have been teaching in the Philippines for the past 5-10 years.
8. He/She must have exemplified the core values and competencies of an inspiring teacher and must have generously shared with others;
9. He/She must be effective and creative in managing the art and craft of teaching, and,
10. He/she has achieved, contributed, and impacted himself/herself thereby contributing and impacting his/her family, community and the nation as a whole.
The 2025 SYL Most Inspiring Teachers of the Philippines will be honored in a formal ceremony on September 6, 2025
