It continually strives to be an internationally recognized organization of competent and compassionate medical oncologists inspired and committed to integrate a multidisciplinary approach to the optimal care of the Filipino cancer patient. It provides opportunities for continuing medical education and further professional development of its members. PSMO educates the public at large and allied medical specialties on the holistic approach to the care of cancer patients and their families. It also nurtures fellowship and encourages openness and cooperation among its members as it actively pursues the standards of excellence in the science and practice of Oncology.

𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!

The Philippine Society of Medical Oncology (PSMO) brought together the Cebuano community for the Cebu Cancer Fair 2026 under the inspiring theme “United by Unique: Different Stories. One Strength.” Hosted by PSMO, in partnership with The Medical Oncology Group - Cebu, ICanServe Foundation - Cebu, Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI-EJACC), Singapore Cancer Center, Cebu Link, and Oakridge Realty Development Corp., the fair welcomed patients, survivors, families, healthcare professionals, and advocates on August 29, 2026.

The event kicked off with heartfelt and energizing addresses from Cancer Fair 2026 Chairman, Dr. Ellie May Villegas, along with other key institutional partners. Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed specialist-led health sessions focused on prevention and well-being, lively entertainment and artist appearances featuring OPM icons and local talents, and interactive wellness activities such as Mat Pilates and pole dancing. There were also dedicated family and kids’ activities, artist meet-and-greets, and a memorable Grand Finale performance staged by local oncology nurses and medical staff—making the fair a truly uplifting celebration of support, strength, and hope for everyone involved.

Sa bawat pasyenteng patuloy na kumakapit sa pag-asa, ipagpatuloy ang laban. Hindi ka nag-iisa ngayong umaga.

Ang PSMO ay narito para samahan ka sa yugtong ito, nakatuon sa mapagmalasakit at holistic cancer care para sa bawat pasyenteng Pilipino.
