205 YEARS OF FAITH, BROTHERHOOD, AND MISSION

With hearts filled with joy, gratitude, and thanksgiving, we, the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, joyfully celebrate our 205th Founding Anniversary!

For 205 years, we have journeyed together in the mission entrusted to us through the inspiration of our founder, Father André Coindre, who founded our congregation in 1821 in Lyon, France. Inspired by the love and compassion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we have sought to dedicate our lives to the formation of young people, the service of those in need, and the proclamation of God’s love through education, formation, community, and service.

From our humble beginnings in France, our mission has reached different parts of the world. Through the generations, we, the Brothers, together with our lay partners, collaborators, students, families, and friends, continue to carry forward the spirit and mission entrusted to us.

✨ 205 years of touching and transforming lives.
✨ 205 years of responding to God’s call with love and joyful service.

As we celebrate this special milestone, we joyfully look back with grateful hearts—remembering the Brothers who faithfully lived the mission before us and all those who have journeyed with us throughout these 205 years.

We also look forward with hope and renewed commitment, trusting that the Sacred Heart of Jesus will continue to guide us in living our vocation and mission. May we remain faithful witnesses of Christ’s love, especially to the young and to those who are most in need.

With Mary, Mother of the Sacred Heart, we continue our journey, asking her to accompany us and teach us to live with humility, courage, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Today, we celebrate not only our history, but God’s enduring love and faithfulness throughout our journey.

A NIGHT OF PRAYER, SILENCE, AND PEACE

Tonight, the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Spirituality Center in Catalunan Grande became a place of quiet prayer, reflection, and communion as we gathered for our Taizé Prayer.

Through simple songs, moments of silence, Scripture, and shared prayer, we were reminded to slow down, listen to God, and allow His presence to touch our hearts.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and shared this beautiful evening of faith and fellowship. May the peace we experienced tonight remain with us and inspire us to carry God’s love into our daily lives.

With joyful hearts, we present our Brothers who are currently in formation as they continue to discern, grow, and respond generously to God’s call to serve Him as Brothers of the Sacred Heart.

Their journey of formation is a time of prayer, study, community, sacrifice, and deepening their relationship with the Heart of Jesus. We humbly ask you to accompany them with your prayers, that they may remain faithful, courageous, and generous in answering the Lord’s invitation.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus guide and strengthen them, and may the Immaculate Heart of Mary accompany them always.

Happy Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

Today, September 8, we joyfully celebrate the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ and a humble model of faith, obedience, and love.

Mary’s birth reminds us that God prepares the way for His saving work through simple and faithful hearts. From her earliest days, Mary was chosen to become the Mother of the Savior and to say her wholehearted “yes” to God’s will.

As Brothers of the Sacred Heart, may we look to Mary as a model of humility, compassion, and loving service. May her example inspire us to bring Christ’s love to our communities, especially to the young entrusted to our care.

A Blessed 41st Final Profession Anniversary to Brother Luc!

Today, we joyfully celebrate 41 years of faithful consecrated life and service of our dear Brother Luc, a Brother of the Sacred Heart.

For 41 years, Brother Luc has generously responded to God’s call, faithfully living the charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart through prayer, community, mission, and service to God’s people.

We are especially grateful for his generous leadership and service as our 4th General Councilor, where he continues to accompany and serve the Congregation with wisdom, dedication, and a heart committed to the mission of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus continue to bless Brother Luc abundantly, strengthen him in his vocation, and guide him as he continues to share God’s love with others.

May your faithful “yes” to the Lord continue to inspire us all.

Celebrating 47 Years of Faithful Religious Profession

Today, we joyfully celebrate Br. Luc on the 47th anniversary of his First Profession as a Brother of the Sacred Heart. ❤️

For 47 years, Br. Luc has faithfully responded to God’s call, offering his life in service to the Church, to young people, and to the mission of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.

As he continues to serve as our 4th General Councilor in Rome, we give thanks to God for the gift of his vocation, his generous service, and his commitment to our religious family.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus continue to strengthen and guide Br. Luc, fill his heart with peace and joy, and bless his ministry in Rome.

Congratulations, Br. Luc!
May your vocation continue to be a blessing to many, and may the years ahead be filled with grace and renewed strength.
