Today, we celebrate National CPR Day by raising awareness of the importance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)—a lifesaving skill that can make the difference between life and death during a cardiac emergency.

Knowing CPR empowers ordinary people to become lifesavers. By recognizing an emergency, calling for help, starting chest compressions, and connecting with emergency medical services, anyone can help increase a person’s chance of survival while waiting for professional responders.
