The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 2, with the direct supervision of PCOL VICTOR P PAGULAYAN, Force Commander, RMFB2 together with Mr. Florante Baylon, President of Pagmamahal Alay Sa Agta (PAGASA), 201st MC led by PLT MHARVERICK E BIGUERAS, Brgy. Officials of Antagan 1st, Tumauini, Isabela, and Cagayan Youth Advocates conducted an outreach activity at Antagan 1st, Tumauini, Isabela. This endeavor is highly supported by the RMFB2 to promote and maximize our cooperation through alliance with our partners in fulfilling our duties and mandates for the betterment of the community.

In the spirit of โ€œSerbisyong May Pusoโ€, the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 2 (RMFB2) with the direct supervision of PCOL VICTOR P PAGULAYAN, Force Commander, in partnership with Mr. Florante B. Baylon, President PAGASA Group, Mrs. Tata Custudio, Ali Di Leonardo of Milan and The Philippine Nurses Association of Milan, conducted an outreach program for our brothers and sisters from the Agta community of Brgy. Bacsay Sitio Mapula-pula, Claveria, Cagayan, on October 30, 2025.

The activity shared not just essential goods, food packs, and clothing, but also the warmth of compassion and solidarity, reminding everyone that true service extends beyond duty. It is about touching lives and uplifting communities.

Through this initiative, the RMFB2 continues to uphold its commitment to the welfare of the Agta people promoting inclusion, care, and empowerment, while safeguarding their heritage and way of life.

This Christmas season, RMFB2 stands united with the marginalized communities in spreading love, peace, and hope building stronger and more compassionate communities across Region 2.

With grateful hearts, we proudly share the success of โ€œPagmamahal Alay Sa Agta,โ€ an outreach program in collaboration with RMFB2, held in Antagan, Tumauini Isabela last October 17, 2025, dedicated to extending love, support, and solidarity to our Agta brothers and sisters.

Our deepest gratitude goes to PCol. VICTOR P. PAVULAYAN, Force Commander of RMFB2, PCPT ALDRIN B. FLORENTINO, Chief of the Community Affairs Section, RMFB2, and to the uniformed men and women of RMFB Rehiyon Dos and RMFB2 for their unwavering support, guidance, and commitment to ensuring the safety and success of this meaningful endeavor.

We also express our heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Vicky Mape Susan, Ms. Borja Bhang Soriano Gutierrez, Ms. Shirley Cob Pabs, Mr. Krischen Zingapan, Mr. LP Ong, Ms. Lethe Callangan, and Ms. Castle Maria Antonette Pacis Marallag for their generosity and compassion that made this mission possible.

Heritage Tour for the Youth: Preserving the Past, Inspiring the Future

Last September 14, 2025, The Pag-Asa, in partnership with the Tuguegarao Online Sellers Association and the Cagayan Youth Advocates, held a Heritage Tour for children to deepen their appreciation of Cagayanโ€™s rich history. Guided by Sir Florante Baylon, the participants learned about the prehistoric periods, traditional clothing, and the legacy of Hon. Teresa J. Dupaya, the first woman governor of Cagayan and founder of the Cagayan Museum.

The tour included visits to Rizal Park and the Cagayan Museum, where the youth explored valuable collections of artifacts and cultural treasures. This meaningful activity reminds us that preserving heritage is not only about remembering history but also about inspiring the next generation to value their identity.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Maโ€™am/Sir Ace Baylon for the snacks and to Sir Kevin Domingo Baclig for the opportunity to access the museum. Truly, by knowing our past, we empower our future.

Mula sa mga naglalakbay na bangka ni Magellan hanggang sa mga labanan ni Bonifacio at Aguinaldo, ang ating kasaysayan ay puno ng tapang, pagmamahal sa bayan, at pagtutulungan.

Habang tayo'y nagdiriwang ngayon, nawa'y alalahanin natin ang mga aral ng ating nakaraan at patuloy na magtulungan upang makabuo ng isang mas maliwanag na kinabukasan para sa lahat.
