NEWS | ICpEP. se - SPUP Chapter chapter advances student engagement through general assembly
ICpEP. se β SPUP Chapter successfully conducted its Second Semester General Assembly on March 18, 2026, bringing together Computer Engineering students from first to third year. The event served as a platform to present the organizationβs accomplishments and outline its plans for the upcoming months.
During the assembly, officers highlighted the chapterβs key achievements from the first semester, including completed activities, student participation, and organizational milestones. Plans and proposed initiatives for the second semester were also introduced, aiming to further enhance student engagement and professional development.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Rucelj D. Pugeda, program coordinator for Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), and Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS). In his message, he emphasized the importance of active involvement, leadership, and continuous learning among CpE students.
The general assembly also provided an opportunity to discuss organizational improvements and areas for future growth, together with ICpEP. se β SPUP Chapter Adviser, Engr. Robert Klyne Ayon-ayon and PSG-SITE Adviser Engr. Luigie U. Cagurangan. This further reinforced the chapterβs commitment to strengthening its programs and supporting the academic and professional development of its members.
The successful conduct of the Second Semester General Assembly reflects the ICpEP. se β SPUP Chapterβs continued commitment to fostering unity, leadership, and academic excellence among Computer Engineering students, while setting a clear direction for a more active and impactful semester ahead.
