CSU-CCAAI Sustains Adopt-a-Classroom Project, Commits to Continually Support Studentry Through Tangible and Salient Projects
LOOK: True to its commitment to continually support the institution's aim to achieve students' optimal learning, the Cagayan State University-Carig Campus Alumni Association Inc. (CSU-CCAAI) today led the turnover ceremony of donations to the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) and College of Information Computing Sciences (CICS).
The Association officers handed over 30 sets of drawing tables amounting to 150,000 pesos to the College of Industrial Technology to be used by drafting students and another 150,000 pesos to the College of Information and Computing Sciences for the purchase of sets of Wi-Fi equipment for seamless connectivity to be used in the computer laboratories. Under the same program, the Adopt-a-Classroom Project, the CSU-CCAAI also commits to support the rest of the remaining colleges in the campus that are yet to submit their requests for their key projects to be used by the students.
Apart from these, some of the notable support and assistance provided by the Association include purchase of 1 set of computer server (240,000) to aid for the seamless connectivity for the on-line classes during the pandemic, purchase of 14 Wi-Fi routers (69,000) within the campus premises, purchase of 35 portable Wi-Fi modems for students (35,000), and purchase of a laptop, paper and ID printers for the processing of Alumni IDs (239,349). All these purchases were made possible through the alumni fees collected from the graduates and were made sure to be given back to the university for the use of studentry.
