In the heart of the community, the TAMBAYAN (BALSA) became more than just a place to gatherโ€”it became a space where young leaders came together to reorganize, learn, and strengthen their commitment to service. ๐Ÿ’š

The Barangay Youth Executive Council (BYEC) โ€“ Makawayan Chapter successfully conducted its meeting and reorganization, welcoming a new set of youth leaders ready to take an active role in their community.

The gathering was also highlighted by a Training of Trainers on Environmental Laws and Cybercrime Prevention, equipping the youth with knowledge and skills that they can share with their fellow young people and the wider community. โš–๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’ป

From the TAMBAYAN (BALSA), conversations become ideas, ideas become action, and young people become leaders.

The reorganization marks a renewed commitment to youth participation, environmental action, and community service, giving young people a stronger platform to lead, contribute, and create meaningful change in our community.

The meeting also featured an orientation about the Marinduque Council for Environmental Concerns (MACEC), where the members were introduced to its mission, advocacy, programs, and the important role of the youth in protecting and conserving our environment. ๐ŸŒฟ

The Torrijos Municipal Youth Executive Council Chairperson, Mr. Leodemar Frias, attended the 2nd MIMAROPA Adolescent and Youth Health and Development (AYHD) Regional Summit, held on August 11โ€“14, 2026 at the Provincial Capitol Training Center, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro, with the theme:

โ€œGame On, Kabataan: Investing in Adolescent and Youth, Securing the Demographic Dividend.โ€

The summit reminded us of a powerful truth: the youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow-they are partners, advocates, and change makers of today.

Investing in adolescent and youth health and development means creating opportunities where young people are heard, empowered, and meaningfully involved in shaping the programs and decisions that affect their lives.

๐Ÿšจ Youth on Alert: First Aid, Disaster & Climate Action ๐ŸŒฑ

MACEC Youth Torrijos proudly participated in the Disaster and Emergency Preparedness, Standard First Aid Training, and Climate Change Adaptation Seminar-Workshop in celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), Community Affairs Office, and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) for organizing this meaningful and informative activity.

This workshop strengthened our knowledge and skills in emergency preparedness, first aid, and climate change adaptationโ€”empowering us to become more responsive, resilient, and responsible environmental advocates and youth leaders.

As members of MACEC Youth Torrijos, we remain committed to promoting environmental stewardship, disaster resilience, and community preparedness for a safer and more sustainable future.

Knowledge creates leaders. Action creates change. ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿคโ€๐Ÿง‘

The Barangay Youth Executive Council (BYEC) โ€“ Brgy. Cabuyo Chapter successfully conducted its Chapter Meeting followed by the Training of Trainers on Environmental Laws and Cybercrime Prevention, bringing together dedicated youth leaders committed to serving the community with purpose and responsibility.

The Chapter Meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the activities, and shared goals, strengthening the commitment of every member to work together for the progress of the barangay. It also served as a reminder that effective leadership begins with communication, collaboration, and active participation.

Following the meeting, participants took part in the Training of Trainers, where they gained valuable knowledge on environmental laws and cybercrime prevention. The discussions highlighted the importance of protecting our natural resources, practicing responsible digital citizenship, and becoming advocates who can educate and inspire others in the community.

The BYEC โ€“ Brgy. Cabuyo Chapter extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this activity meaningful and successful. Your support continues to empower the youth to become responsible, informed, and service-oriented leaders.

BARANGAY YOUTH EXECUTIVE COUNCIL - BRGY. NANGKA CHAPTER

Communities thrive when they are composed of enlightened youth who are capable of doing something for their community.

The Barangay Youth Executive Council (BYEC) โ€“ Brgy. Nangka Chapter was able to hold its Chapter Meeting, which brought together youth leaders whose common goal is leadership, service, and community development.

There was also a Training of Trainers (ToT) about Environmental Laws and Cybercrime Awareness so that everyone will be knowledgeable about how to become an advocate for environmental laws and cybercrime.

A big thank you to all the participants who were able to attend and took part in this meeting. It is because of your participation and cooperation that made this activity successful.

It is also our sincere gratitude to the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Nangka for your consistent support, commitment, and partnership in empowering the youth. The way you create opportunities for the youth makes the youth of today inspired to become future community leaders.
