𝙵𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝙸𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝙸𝚖𝚙𝚊𝚌𝚝: 𝙳𝙸𝙲𝚃 𝙱𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜 𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚞𝚙 𝙰𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝚄𝙰 𝚃𝙻𝙼𝙲

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region VI, in partnership with the College of Computing and Information Sciences, University of Antique Tario-Lim Memorial Campus, successfully conducted the Startup Awareness Caravan on August 28, 2025, at the Recreation and Fitness Center (RFC).

More than 200 aspiring innovators and technopreneurs joined the event, with the BSIT students taking the lead in actively participating alongside their fellow peers from the BSIS and BSCS programs. They gained valuable insights and inspiration to shape the future of technology and innovation.

As part of the activity, students engaged in a Startup Ideation Workshop and had the opportunity to pitch their innovative ideas, showcasing their creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The caravan also promoted the eGov PH application, a one-stop digital platform that makes government services more accessible, efficient, and citizen-friendly, further highlighting the role of technology in driving digital transformation and public service innovation.
