Happy Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, Bedans! 🎊
In July 2008, the Minority Mental Health Awareness Month was established in honor of Bebe Moore Campbell, an author and mental health activist who spoke for underrepresented communities, confronted racial injustice, and created safe spaces for black individuals facing mental health challenges.
As July ends, we are reminded that mental health is not exclusive to one group of individuals. Bebe Moore Campbell’s legacy reminds us that despite our differences, everyone deserves compassion, understanding, and a supportive community. Let us continue moving forward to spread kindness and create safe spaces for every person, regardless of where they come from. 🌍💗
