WATER FROM ZAMBALES MAY REACH CAMILING TONIGHT

The municipal government of Camiling, Tarlac is warning motorists that water from parts of Zambales may flow toward the town from tonight until midnight.

Authorities are closely monitoring water levels and advising drivers to check with the Camiling LDRRMO at 0939-117-3553 or wait for official updates before passing through Bilad-Sawat Road, Camiling Bridge-Amigo Junction, and Cacamilingan Sur.

Motorists are urged to remain cautious and avoid flooded or unsafe roads. Residents are also reminded to stay alert and follow advisories from the local government.

NO MORE WIND SIGNALS IN TARLAC 🙏

As of 5:00 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2026, there are no longer any Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals in effect for Tarlac, according to PAGASA.

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains affecting Tarlac(San Jose, Capas, Bamban, Concepcion, La Paz, Tarlac City, Victoria, Pura) which may persist within 3 hours and may affect nearby areas.

The northern portion of Tarlac is still placed under PAGASA's Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 1 due to the effects of Tropical Storm , as of 11:00PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Meanwhile, TS Maymay maintains its strength as it moves east northeastward over the sea east of Ilocos Sur.

BERT Leads Successful 2nd Quarter NSED Drill

‎The Batang Empowered and Resilient Team (BERT) of Camiling School for Home Industries actively participated in today’s National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) June 18, 2026, showcasing teamwork and preparedness during emergency situations.
‎
‎At exactly 9:00 AM, the alarm sounded, signaling the start of the nationwide drill. Students together with their teachers performed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and calmly evacuated their classrooms.
‎
‎With the assistance of teachers and administrators, the drill was conducted smoothly and orderly. The team guided evacuees to safety, ensured proper coordination, and documented the event through photos with official watermarks.
‎
‎The activity highlighted the school’s strong commitment to disaster readiness and community resilience—proving that through cooperation and preparedness, everyone can stay safe during emergencies.
