Held on July 31, 2026 (Online Session) and August 1โ€“2, 2026 at Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center, Tanay, Rizal.

This milestone program equipped our adult leaders with vital knowledge, practical skills, and the right perspective to mentor and inspire young Scouts. It strengthened their understanding of Scouting principles, organizational policies, safety protocols, and the values enshrined in the Scout Promise and Law.

Beyond training, the course fostered teamwork, enhanced leadership capacity, and renewed dedication to building responsible, service-driven youth.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participants, facilitators, and organizers whose commitment made this achievement possible. Together, we continue to ensure strong, capable, and passionate leadership for the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

Every August 1, Scouts across the globe celebrate World Scarf Day, honoring the scarf as a timeless symbol of unity, service, and identity. This tradition traces its roots back to 1907, when Robert Baden-Powell held the first Scout camp at Brownsea Island, England, where the scarf became a mark of belonging and brotherhood. Since then, it has grown into a global emblem worn proudly by millions of Scouts in every corner of the world.

In the Philippines, the scarf carries not only the spirit of Scouting but also the pride of our nation. Each color represents diversity, yet all are bound by the same promiseโ€”to serve God, country, and fellowmen. As we wear our scarves today, we honor the legacy of Scouting and renew our commitment to live by its values, continuing the journey of service and leadership passed down through generations.

On Scouts Memorial Day, we solemnly honor the courage and sacrifice of the 24 Filipino Scouts and Scouters who perished in the tragic plane crash of July 28, 1963, while en route to the 11th World Jamboree in Marathon, Greece. Their devotion to service and leadership stands as a timeless testament to the ideals of Scouting.

Through Proclamation No. 293 in 1988, this day was declared a national observance, ensuring that their memory is preserved across generations. Each year, ceremonies at the Ala-Ala Mausoleum and memorial landmarks remind us that true heroism lies in selfless service to others, and that the spirit of Scouting continues to inspire the youth of our nation.

In celebration of the 79th Founding Anniversary of the Rizal Council, the Tanay Municipal Scouting Committee proudly led our Scouts in a day filled with purpose, teamwork, and service.

From tree planting and community clean-ups to skill-building activities and wellness exercises, our Scouts embodied the true spirit of Scouting โ€” promoting unity, leadership, and care for the environment.
