๐ขIMPORTANT SCHOOL ADVISORY
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Learners,
Please be guided regarding classes tomorrow, Monday, August 10, 2026.
In consideration of the continuous rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the possibility of class suspensions, Our Lady of Assumption College โ Batangas Branch Inc. would like to inform everyone of the following:
๐ FOR THE REMAINING EXAMINATION DAYS
Our Lady of Assumption College โ Batangas Branch Inc. has decided to postpone the remaining examinations.
The decision is being made to ensure that all learners are given adequate time to prepare and review for their examinations. Considering the disruptions caused by the weather conditions, proceeding with the examinations immediately may not provide all students with the same opportunity to study and prepare.
This adjustment is intended to promote fairness and equal opportunity among learners, while also giving everyone sufficient time to prepare for the remaining examinations under more suitable circumstances.

REVISED EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
The affected examinations will be moved to a later date. The revised examination schedule will be announced through the official OLAC communication channels once the new dates have been finalized.
๐ป ONLINE LEARNING WILL BE IMPLEMENTED
Should the LGU suspend face-to-face classes, OLAC will shift to online learning or other appropriate alternative learning arrangements for the affected school day.
Students are encouraged to prepare their gadgets, internet connection, and other necessary learning materials to ensure continuity of learning.
๐ก IN CASE OF LIMITED OR NO INTERNET ACCESS
Since weather conditions may affect internet services, teachers may provide learners with alternative ways to access the lessons and complete their learning tasks. These may include:
โ Uploading or sending PowerPoint (PPT) presentations, lesson materials, and activity instructions through the official class group chats;
โ Providing self-directed activities, worksheets, or home-based learning tasks that can be completed without attending an online session;
โ Sharing recorded video lessons, demonstrations, or other digital learning resources that learners may view once internet access becomes available; and
โ Giving appropriate additional time for the completion and submission of activities or requirements when connectivity problems prevent learners from meeting the original deadline.
Parents and learners are encouraged to inform the subject teacher immediately if connectivity or other weather-related concerns prevent them from participating or submitting requirements on time.
๐ธ DOCUMENTATION WHEN NECESSARY
When requested by the teacher, parents/guardians and learners are responsible for providing appropriate photographs, screenshots, or other proof of completed activities, participation, or circumstances affecting their ability to comply with the assigned requirements.
All submissions and documentation should be sent through the official communication channel designated by the respective teacher.

Parents, guardians, and learners are reminded to regularly monitor the official OLAC class group chats and school announcements for updates regarding:
โข Examination schedules and rescheduling
โข Class suspension announcements
โข Online learning arrangements
โข Alternative learning activities
โข Submission of requirements
โข Other important instructions from the school
If there is no official suspension of classes, the scheduled examinations as and regular class activities will continue as planned.
