SEMINAR ON QUANTITATIVE, QUALITATIVE & MIXED METHODS RESEARCH

The Fourth-Year Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering students successfully conducted a seminar on “Quantitative, Qualitative & Mixed Methods Research” on September 4, 2026, at the UMCOR Building.

The seminar strengthened the students’ understanding of Quantitative, Qualitative, and Mixed Methods Research, providing essential knowledge and valuable guidance in conducting effective, systematic, and academically sound research.

The students sincerely extend their heartfelt gratitude to the resource speaker, Prof. Eduardo Edu C. Cornillez Jr., for generously sharing his expertise and valuable insights. Special appreciation is also extended to Engr. Vicente D. Carillo Jr., Engineering Department Head, for his guidance and unwavering support in making this academic activity possible.

The seminar served as a meaningful academic endeavor that contributed to the development of competent, analytical, and research-oriented future Civil Engineers.

Knowledge gained today becomes the foundation for better research tomorrow.

‎Ready na ba ulit i-calcu ang 1+1? Ready na ba ang lahat sa multiple-choice na exam? Yung may A, B, C, D pero plot twist: hindi choices ang A, B, C, D… bawat letter may sariling tanong! From "𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑠 𝑘𝑜 '𝑡𝑜" to "𝐿𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑠 𝑚𝑜 𝑛𝑎 `𝑡𝑜." real quick. And yes, ready na ba tayo? Ready na ba mag-solve at gumawa ng sariling formula?

‎I am (𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄) , a Civil Engineering (Sophomore/Junior/Senior) at Eastern Visayas State University - Tanauan Campus, ready na sa new academic year, new subjects, at new set of problems. After a few weeks of doing absolutely anything except mag-study, balik na naman tayo sa reality: early classes, late dismissals, kaba na matawag sa board work, at exams na minsan parang may personal na galit sa atin. 🥲
