Continuing our journey through the basics! Heian Sandan is the 3rd Kata in the Heian series, helping students improve their stances, coordination, balance, hip movement, speed, and control.

Kata is not only about memorizing the movements—it is about understanding every technique and performing it with proper timing, power, and focus. Master the basics and build a stronger foundation in Karate. 👊🔥

HEIAN NIDAN KATA — STRONG BASICS, STRONG KARATE!

As our students level up their belts, especially the kids, they also need to strengthen their understanding of basic kata.

Heian Nidan means “Peaceful Mind – Second Level.” It teaches important fundamentals such as proper stances, blocks, strikes, kicks, balance, timing, and coordination. Remember, a higher belt means greater responsibility to improve your basics. Master the basics and the advanced techniques will follow. 💪🥋
