I passed both the LET and the Criminology Board, here are practical tips i can share with future LET takers.
🏆 7 Golden Rules for LET Board Exam
1. Plan Smart, Not Hard
Create a study calendar and stick to it.
Don’t try to study everything in one go—focus on areas you’re weakest at, but still review the basics daily.
2. Master the Fundamentals
For General Education, review core subjects like English grammar, Filipino, Math, and Science.
For Professional Education, know the teaching philosophies, strategies, and laws.
For Major, focus on applied knowledge that usually comes out in situational questions.
3. Practice Like It’s the Real Thing
Answer mock exams with time limits.
Train yourself to manage speed + accuracy—important in long tests like LET.
4. Develop a “Board Exam Mindset”
Don’t panic if you encounter hard questions—everyone does. Move on, then return later.
Eliminate obviously wrong choices first.
Trust your first instinct unless you spot a clear error.
5. Stay Healthy & Steady
Sleep well before exam day. A fresh brain works better than an exhausted one.
Eat a balanced meal before the test. Avoid too much caffeine—it can make you jittery.
6. Bring Complete Requirements
Exam permit (NOA), valid ID, 2B pencils, eraser, snacks, and water.
Prepare them the night before to avoid stress.
7. Mindset & Motivation
Always tell yourself: “I already passed one big exam. I can pass another.”
Remember, the LET is not just a test of knowledge—it’s a test of patience, strategy, and composure.
✨ Passing the board exam is not just about knowledge—it’s about discipline, patience, and the right mindset. Believe that you are ready, because you are.
