The CHRA™ Institutional Assessment was successfully concluded today, July 09, 2026 at Cavite State University – Carmona. The assessment forms part of HREAP's continuing commitment to promoting quality HR education and strengthening the future of the HR profession in the Philippines.

On July 4, 2026, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sta. Rosa Campus successfully conducted the HR Summit 2026. The event featured the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and an orientation on the Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA)™ program. Through engaging discussions and insightful sessions, participants gained valuable knowledge and fresh perspectives that will help prepare them for their future careers as human resource professionals and strengthen the next generation of HR leaders from PUP–Sta. Rosa.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) has approved an ₱85 daily minimum wage increase for more than 1.1 million workers in the National Capital Region-the largest single daily wage hike in Metro Manila's history.

The adjustment will be implemented in two tranches: ₱60 starting July 19, 2026, and an additional ₱25 in January 2027. Raising the minimum wage to ₱780 for non-agriculture workers and ₱743 for workers under agricultural sector.

This milestone reflects a continuing commitment to improving the welfare, dignity, and livelihood of Filipino workers.

Congratulations to all examinees who successfully passed the Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA)™ by HREAP and PHRI™ Assessment Examination held in-person last May 29, 2026 (St. Bernadette of Lourdes College), June 17, 2026 (National University - Clark), and online last June 20, 2026 (St. Paul University Quezon City), and June 20 & 21, 2026 (Institutional and National Batch) respectively.

The Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (HREAP), in partnership with the Philippine HR Institute (PHRI)™, administered the on-site campus & online assessment examination.
The overall passing rate (OPR) is 85.40%
