The Barefoot Boy Initiative is a youth organization that began in 2023 with a group of students from Makati Science High School. Over time, it has expanded to include members from other notable high schools and has partnered with communities to improve access to quality educational materials for underprivileged youth. Our mission is to empower these young individuals to unlock their potential and

🛣️ Our journey to NIYIS has come to an end 🛑

Last Friday, July 31, 2026, marked the end of the PARA! Project 💜 The last batch of baon packs were distributed to the student beneficiaries 🌟

In the past four weeks, we have provided 50 students with assistance in Nemesio I. Yabut Integrated School 💛The success of this project would not be possible without the support of our donors 🫂

Since we have received an overflowing amount of donations, the remaining funds will be used for future projects with the permission of donors whose donations will be carried over.

Now arriving at our destination 🚍✨

Last July 3, 2026, The Barefoot Boy Initiative successfully held an orientation for the parents and student beneficiaries of the PARA! Program 🚌

During the orientation, the first week of donations was also turned over to our partner school, Nemesio I. Yabut Integrated School 🏫 To conclude our event, a simple meal was given to the attendees 🍽️

As of now, only the first and second week of baon packs have been processed by the organization. There will be a second batch of processing for the remaining two weeks of the program.

These would not be possible without the support of everyone for the PARA! Program 💛 Every shared post about our donation drive widened the reach of our organization 🏘️ And every donation helped us actualize our goal ⭐️

The Barefoot Boy Initiative is now officially accepting In-kind donations✨ We’re partnering with Nemesio I. Yabut Integrated School to support 𝟱𝟬 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 from Kinder to Grade 8 who are 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨 🚏📚

As the cost of living continues to rise, many families are finding it harder to provide daily needs and school support for their children. Through this donation drive, we hope to give students a little extra comfort, nourishment, and encouragement as they continue their studies 💛

In line with TBBI’s commitment to promoting student health and well-being, we encourage donors to provide items that fall under the 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙙 as stated in 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙀𝙙 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙤. 𝟭𝟯, 𝙨. 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳. These refer to food and beverage items that:

1. Contain a wide range of nutrients
2. Have less than 3 grams of saturated fat per serving
3. Contain no trans fat
4. Have less than 10 grams of added sugar per serving
5. Contain less than 120 mg of sodium per serving
