The Nutrition Research Information Network (NUTRINET) conducted a briefing-orientation for the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) on February 18, 2026, via Zoom, which stemmed from DOST-PCHRD's interest in joining the Network.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Salvador R. Serrano, Chair of the NUTRINET Technical Committee and Officer in charge of the DOST-FNRIโs Technology Diffusion and Science and Technology Division (TDSTSD). Representing DOST-PCHRD is Ms. Grace Ruth B. Daulat, Science Research Specialist II
Also in attendance were representatives from various NUTRINET member institutions. During the orientation, the Chair of the NUTRINET Technical Committee provided a comprehensive overview of the network, outlining its core programs, major activities, and notable accomplishments.
NUTRINET brings together libraries and institutions to share resources in food, nutrition, health, and related fields.
Ms. Daulat affirmed their institutionโs membership in the Network and expressed her commitment in contributing and strengthening health-related research initiatives through collaboration and information exchange.
