Pinaagi niini, atong ipadayag dili lamang ang atong pagtuo, kundili usab ang atong dakong gugma, pag-amoma, ug responsibilidad alang sa kinaiyahan isip atong hiniusang puloy-anan — our Common Home. 🌎💚

✨ FOUR-IN-ONE CELEBRATION:

♻️ 1. Likha sa Basura – Product Exhibit
Usa ka creative showcase nga magpakita nga ang mga butang nga kasagarang atong ilabay mahimong mapuslanon pa pinaagi sa pagkamamugnaon ug responsible waste management.

🌳 2. Fruit Tree Seedlings Distribution
Human sa 6:00 AM Holy Mass sa Santa Ana Parish, mag-apod-apod kita og mga fruit tree seedlings isip simbolo sa atong pagtanom og paglaum alang sa mas lunhaw ug mas maayong kaugmaon.

🧹 3. Community Clean-Up Drive
Maghiusa kita sa paglimpyo sa palibot sa Centro Santa Ana, isip konkretong pamaagi sa pag-atiman sa atong komunidad ug pagpanalipod sa atong palibot.

🌊 4. Puga-an River Clean-Up Drive
Magpadayon kita ngadto sa Puga-an River, nga nahimutang sa Barangay Santa Ana, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, aron mapakita ang atong commitment sa pagpanalipod ug pag-atiman sa atong mga suba ug natural resources.

💧 Atong ampingan ang Puga-an River!

Hibaloan nga ang Puga-an River usa sa mga matahum ug maayong dapit nga kanunayng adtoan sa mga katawhan alang sa pagkaligo ug pagpahulay, ilabi na sa mga nagpuyo duol sa Centro Santa Ana.

Tungod niini, angay lamang nga ato kining protektahan, amomahon, ug atimanon aron ang mga umaabot nga henerasyon makapahimulos, makasinati, ug makasaksi gihapon sa talagsaong katahum nga gihatag sa Ginoo kanato. 🌿💧

Kay ang pag-atiman sa kinaiyahan dili lamang responsibilidad sa pipila ka tawo—responsibilidad kini natong tanan.

SANHS BSP Prepares Bamboo for the District-Wide Camporal

The SANHS Boy Scout Club (SANHS BSP) began preparations for the upcoming District-Wide Camporal by gathering bamboo materials that will be used for the construction and preparation of the camp.

The activity was led by members of the SANHS BSP Alumni, namely R.S. Fredie Ayaoayao, ESC; R.S. Ritchie Lawrence P. Yap, ESC; A.L. Clark F. Abella, ESC; and R.S. Romar D. Bagay, together with the Senior Scouts and Aspirant Scouts of the organization.

The activity provided the Scouts with an opportunity to experience practical aspects of camp preparation while working together with former members and leaders of the organization. Through teamwork and cooperation, the Scouts contributed to the preparations for the upcoming Camporal.

The SANHS BSP would also like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to the Bagongon Family, particularly the caretakers of the bamboo area, for generously allowing the Scouts to gather bamboo for the activity.

Their kindness and support contributed to the preparations of the SANHS BSP as it gets ready for another scouting activity.

As the District-Wide Camporal approaches, the SANHS BSP continues to prepare not only its materials but also its Scouts; through service, teamwork, resourcefulness, and responsibility.

From 53 to 15: SANHS BSP Aspirants Undergo Final Evaluation

September 26, 2026 | SANHS Boy Scout Club

The SANHS Boy Scout Club (SANHS BSP) conducted its evaluation process on September 26, 2026, for qualified Aspirant Scouts seeking membership in the organization. The evaluation served as an important part of the Scouts’ journey toward becoming full-pledge members of the organization.

The evaluation was conducted in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the SANHS Boy Scout Club, which provide the organizational framework for membership, training, discipline, responsibilities, and the standards expected of its members. The evaluation was designed to assess the Aspirants’ preparedness, knowledge, skills, conduct, commitment, and understanding of the principles and responsibilities of Scouting.

The evaluation was led by A.L. Clark F. Abella, ESC, SANHS BSP Guidance Counselor, together with 10 qualified Senior Scouts who assisted in the assessment process. Their participation helped ensure that the Aspirants were assessed based on the standards and expectations established by the organization.

The evaluation included Scouting knowledge, recitation of essential and basic Scouting concepts, and physical evaluation. The Aspirants were challenged not only to demonstrate what they had learned during their training but also to show discipline, preparedness, confidence, and commitment to the organization.

Following the evaluation process, 15 Aspirants qualified for the upcoming Investiture:

For the male Aspirants who did not meet the required standard during the Knowledge Evaluation, a Physical Evaluation was conducted as the succeeding component of the assessment, together with recitation covering the necessary and fundamental knowledge of Scouting. This provided the evaluators with another basis for determining the Aspirants’ preparedness for membership.

From the original 53 Aspirant Scouts, the journey has now reached 14 qualified Aspirants who are set to take the next step toward their Investiture.

The number represents more than a reduction in participants. It reflects months of training, learning, discipline, challenges, and personal growth. Each remaining Aspirant has reached this stage after undergoing the organization’s training and evaluation process.

As the Investiture approaches, the 14 Aspirants are reminded that wearing the Scout Neckerchief is not merely a recognition of membership. It carries a responsibility to uphold Integrity, Accountability, and Responsibility as members of the SANHS Boy Scout Club.

Municipal Meet: Where Athletes Show Their Strength

The other memorable day dawned when the Municipal Meet gathered athletes from various schools, on September 25, 2026.Though the competitions were held in different areas, Sta. Ana National High School served as the venue for Sepak Takraw, Gymnastics, and Track and Field. The athletes came not just with their gears, but also with the aspirations, dreams and willingness to give everything.

As the games went on, each passing second seemed to be one worthy of being remembered. From the laughs when friendship was formed, to the excitement that came with the beginning of each competition and the disappointment and tears when things went against expectations. Through all these emotions, the athletes encouraged and thanked each other for the people whom they were able to meet.

While for others, the competition might have been just an ordinary sports activity. In every single athlete were the dreams that they had been working towards for many days now, many practices and the bravery of standing up and competing despite all the difficulties that were in front of them.

Ultimately, however, what will remain with them is not just the outcome of the competition but also the memories, the friendships, the lessons learned, and the courage that came out of it all. They might come back home as members of different teams, but they leave with the experience of everything that happened and take with them everything that they learn as they chase their dreams. And at times, the biggest win of all is having the courage to persevere.

BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES

Gender Inclusivity in Scouting

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) continues to uphold its historical identity while recognizing the importance of inclusivity, equal opportunity, and diversity within the Scouting Movement.

Despite retaining the word “Boy” in its historical name, the BSP provides opportunities for girls to participate in Scouting, particularly in the Senior Scout and Rover Scout sections. This reflects the organization's continuing commitment to making Scouting accessible to young people within its established programs and sections.

In the BSP, members are identified according to their respective Scouting sections, such as Scouts, Senior Scouts, and Rover Scouts. The organization does not need to create a separate designation such as “Lady Scout” for female members. Instead, they participate as members of the same Scouting Movement under the appropriate section.

Therefore, the principle of “Walang Lady Scouts sa BSP” may be understood as a matter of organizational terminology: female members are Scouts, Senior Scouts, or Rover Scouts, according to their section, rather than being placed under a separate “Lady Scout” category.

The continued use of the historical name Boy Scouts of the Philippines does not, by itself, prevent the organization from pursuing inclusive participation. Rather, the BSP's identity and terminology can coexist with its efforts to provide Scouting opportunities to members of different genders.

SANHS Boy Scout Club Refreshes knot-Tying Skills

Training was conducted by SANHS Boy Scout Club on September 23, 2026, which made for a very fruitful afternoon. Once again, Senior Scouts and Aspirants gathered together to learn and enhance their skill sets, which they have developed as a result of Scouting experience.

Aspirants were able to improve their knot-tying skills, while Senior Scouts also got the chance to improve their knowledge about the 12 knots. All Scouts were to tie 12 basic knots using a 2-meter rope and following commands by different Scouts. Thus, the Scouts were to show their skills in terms of memory, attention, coordination, and guidance.

It was not only an exercise aimed at practicing their knots. The exercise was meant to be an additional chance to improve their discipline, patience, cooperation, and self-assurance as they learned from each other. With every challenge they were to learn the significance of practice and collaboration.

In addition to being another exercise, it was one more step forward in their development as Scouts. The information and skills that they get during every activity will become their lessons that will help them in the future activities and service journey.

SANHS Rover Scouts Join Coastal Clean - Up in Baluarte

On September 19, 2026, the Rover Scouts were asked to be a part of the coastal clean-up drive activity at Baluarte, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. The SANHS Boy Scout Club took active part in this activity and brought respect, responsibility, and readiness to serve the community with them.

The participation in the coastal clean-up drive by the Rover Scouts and Aspirant Rover Scout proved that they were ready to take care of the environment and also helped to remind themselves that small acts of service could lead to cleaner and healthier communities.

This experience was also very important for the Rover Scouts as it gave them an opportunity to get to know many new people and make new friends among other participants. They spent time with each other, communicated and served as a team.

Apart from being a good clean-up experience, it was also a learning experience for the Scouts since it taught them about cooperation, responsibility, friendship, and service.

SANHS Boy Scout Club conducts an refreshment training session

On September 21, 2026, SANHS Boy Scout Club carried out an afternoon training session wherein the Aspirants and Senior Scouts met up in order to refresh their skills in preparation for their performance this coming Saturday.

The Scouts engaged themselves in bandaging as refresher in preparation for their performance this coming Saturday. The Senior Scouts on the other hand refresh on their carrying techniques which helped them to remember the skills that they once knew. Through such activity, the Scouts were able to coordinate and communicate with each other.

This training session was not only used as a refresher but more importantly, it emphasized the fact that it is always important to practice in order to prepare themselves for the coming events. As Saturday approaches, the Aspirants and Senior Scouts continue to work as one team.

Senior Scouts Serve Young Atheletes During the District Meet

The District Meet took place on July 19, 2026 at Sta. Ana National High School involves youth sportsmen coming from different educational institutions. WBH Brian L. Pacamalan requested the members of the SANHS Senior Scouts to cooperate and assist the participants during the games. The Scouts gladly accepted their obligations, proving that they are willing to serve and help with the accomplishment of the activity.

Prior to starting the activity, WBH Brian L. Pacamalan conducted the orientation of the Scouts giving them specific tasks. After that, the Scouts went to the d**e where all the games and athletics would take place. Among the participants of the District Meet there were youth from Maribojoc Integrated School and Rosario National High School who added more energy to the competition. Many young athletes participated in the games, thus, the Scouts performed their tasks responsibly.

Throughout the whole period of the District Meet, the Scouts did their best to fulfill the assigned task, helped the young athletes and cooperated everywhere where they could.
