The SANHS - Boys Scout Club - Senior Scouts is now officially registered under the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP), an initiative of the Philippine National Youth Commission (NYC) that recognizes and supports youth-led and youth-serving organizations.

This achievement marks another milestone for the organization as it continues to strengthen youth leadership, community involvement, and active participation in programs that empower young people.

Congratulations to the SANHS BSP Officers, together with WBH Brian L. Pacamalan Outfit Advisor, A.L Clark F. Abella, Guidance Counselor and to the School Principal Eleuterio Quejada Jr. for their dedication, effort, and guidance in making this accomplishment possible.

Your commitment and leadership continue to inspire the scouting community to serve with excellence, discipline, and purpose.

Day 3

𝙀𝙎𝙏𝘾 𝙊𝙅𝙏 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝘿𝙍𝙍𝙈𝙊 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙖. 𝘼𝙣𝙖, 𝙏𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙣, 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡.

The ESTC OJT trainees, together with the BDRRMO of Baranggay Sta. Ana, engaged in the rappelling activity in order to gain experience in this area of training. The activity aimed to promote cooperation, unity, and teamwork, among the trainees particularly during emergency and rescue-related situations.

During the activity, the trainees were instructed on how to use the equipment used for rappelling. The participants displayed courage, cooperation, and enthusiasm throughout the rappelling activity which made the activity a success.

The successful ex*****on of the rappelling activity was made possible by the collaborative efforts of the ESTC OJT trainees together with the BDRRMO officers who helped in conducting the rappelling activity. The trainees received valuable knowledge and experience in disaster preparedness and emergency response as a result of this training.

The ESTC OJT trainees would also like to express their sincere gratitude to Sir Brian Pacamalan and the BDRRMO of Brgy. Sta. Ana for their generous guidance, assistance, and support in facilitating the OJT trainees in the rappelling activity.

Day 2

ESTC on-the-job conduct a Community Survey at Zone 4, Barangay Sta. Ana, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental

The ESTC on-the-job, together with the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRM) of Barangay Sta. Ana, conducted a community survey in the areas and houses located near the river at Zone 4. The activity aims to gather important information regarding the condition of the community, especially during heavy rains and possible flooding situations.

Residents actively participated in the survey by answering the prepared questions from the team. The collected information will serve as an important basis in identifying areas that may need attention and in strengthening disaster preparedness and safety measures within the community.

The activity was conducted successfully through the cooperation of the residents, ESTC on-the-job, and the BDRRM officers of Barangay Sta. Ana. Through this initiative, the team hopes to contribute valuable information that may help improve awareness, preparedness, and community response during natural calamities and emergencies.

The ESTC on-the-job and the BDRRM of Barangay Sta. Ana sincerely express their gratitude to all residents who participated and supported the activity.

ESTC Graduates Begin OJT at Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council

The ESTC graduates officially began their first day of on-the-job training at the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Barangay Sta. Ana, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The activity marked another important step in applying the knowledge and skills they acquired during the Emergency Service Training Course. Through the training, the graduates were given the opportunity to experience actual community-based service and disaster preparedness operations.

During their duty, the trainees rendered their time and effort in assisting community activities and supporting the initiatives of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council. Their participation reflected the values of service, discipline, and responsibility that were strengthened throughout their scouting journey.

The on-the-job training also allowed the graduates to gain practical experience in emergency response and public service while working closely with barangay personnel. Through this exposure, they continue to develop leadership, teamwork, and preparedness in serving the community.

The SANHS – Boys Scout Club – Senior Scouts remain committed to promoting volunteerism and community involvement, proving that scouting extends beyond training and continues through active service to the people.

People say money cannot buy happiness.
But in scouting, sometimes it feels like it can.

We spend money on camps, trainings, travels, uniforms, and activities that leave us exhausted physically and financially. Yet despite the tiredness, what we gain in return is something priceless; memories, friendships, lessons, and experiences that shape who we are.

In scouting, happiness is not bought by money itself, but by the moments and growth that come from the journey.

“𝙉𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞 𝙣𝙞 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢, 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙠𝙤?” a simple yet powerful line shared through a short video clip of 𝙍.𝙎./𝘼.𝙇. 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙁. 𝘼𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 during the ESTC Graduation on 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, reminding everyone that leadership is not just about standing in front, but about inspiring others through sincerity, wisdom, and heart. His heartfelt impression further inspired all trainees to continue their journey in scouting and leadership with humility, commitment, and courage. Indeed, the lessons and memories from the training will remain a meaningful guide for every scout and leader beyond the camp.

One of the greatest inspirations during the training was 𝙒𝘽𝙃 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙏. 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙤, 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙛𝙞𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙜 𝙍𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧, whose strength and dedication proved that age is never a limitation in serving and leading others.

A reminder that true leadership is not measured by age, strength, or position, but by courage, perseverance, and the willingness to continue despite every challenge. Throughout the ESTC (Emergency Service Training Course), every trainee faced exhaustion, sacrifices, sleepless nights, and difficult mobilizations. Yet despite these struggles, everyone continued with determination and discipline.

After days of training, challenges, and learning new things, each participant has reached an important milestone in their scouting journey. The hard work, discipline, effort, and determination shown throughout the training made this achievement possible.

Throughout the week, the participants were given different activities and experiences that helped them improve their knowledge and skills in emergency response, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and service.
