YEARS AGO, WE STARTED WITH A SIMPLE MISSION: TO SERVE THOSE IN NEED ๐
Six years ago, we stood in compassion with children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic who had little to eat. We responded by sharing meals and hope.
Today, we continue this mission by serving meals to 150 schoolchildren across three government schools in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, ensuring that no child learns on an empty stomach.
We also extend support to indigent patients at Holy Name University Medical Center who struggle with medical expenses, made possible through generous donors who choose to care.
Three years ago, these simple acts of kindness grew into something greaterโthe birth of the Divine Word Foundation, Inc.
Today, we thank God as we celebrate not just an anniversary, but the lives touched, smiles restored, meals shared, and hope made possible through many compassionate hearts.
To our donors, volunteers, partners, and beneficiaries, THANK YOU for being part of this journey and for believing in our mission of compassion in action.
And to our dear Fr. Peru Dayag, SVD, our deepest gratitude for planting this foundation and for your vision that continues to transform lives today.
