Meet our speakers for the webinar in September.
Trey Brooks
Trey Brooks is Co-Director of Equip to Engage, and he and his wife are the USA/Canada Regional and Global Child Discipleship Advocates for the Church of the Nazarene. Equip to Engage is a ministry that equips, encourages, and connects children's leaders. They do this through SPARK, leadership retreats, weekend events, specialized resources, and speaking at children’s camps.
Trey holds a B.A. in Theology and Ministry from Southern Nazarene University, a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and is an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. Candice holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Southern Nazarene University, is a licensed teacher, and is a Certified Story Trainer with Tell THE Story through the Church of the Nazarene.
Trey and Candice have served the Church of the Nazarene in various ways. They led General Assembly Kids 2023. In addition, they have led teams to write children and family resources for Half-Million Mobilization (2024, 2025, 2026) and BLESS, BRING, and BECOME resources for the Church of the Nazarene USA/Canada, with more resources to come. They will also lead General Assembly Kids for the 31st General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene in 2027. They led PALCON Kids at Point Loma Nazarene University in 2024 and were the speakers at PALCON Kids at Northwest Nazarene University in 2025. Trey and Candice have three children and live near Oklahoma City, OK.
