With the theme โTransformative and Culture-Based Teaching for the Modern Educators: Innovations, Collaboration, Well-being, and Research Excellence,โ The Peace and Development Society, under the leadership of Maโam Mary Grace Gallego, PhD Project Leader, in partnership with the SKSU faculty and teachers from the partner institution, officially deployed its PeaceQuest student-delegates today, August 29, 2025, at Datu Matilondo Galmak National High School, Brgy. Biwang, Bagumbayan.
The program placed a strong emphasis on empowering teachers, who served as the main guests and active participants during the activity. Their presence made the event more meaningful as they engaged with new strategies, ideas, and practices that promote culture-based and transformative education.
The event was enriched by the presence of distinguished resource speakers: Maโam Fatima C. Samama, MAEd
Ma'am Analiza G. Sumido, PhD
Ma'am Rizalyn B. Cudera, MS and Sir. Mark F. Onia, RPm, RPsy. Their expertise and insights provided valuable inspiration for both the student-delegates and the participating teachers.
The PeaceQuest Extension Program reflects the shared vision of SKSU and its partners to nurture teachers, empower learners, and strengthen communities through education, innovation, and peace.
