WiTech Leyte successfully launches its "Bigay Biyaya, Hatid Ligaya" event last Saturday, February 15th, bringing joy to the young girls of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Home for Girls in Pawing, Palo.

Following a prayer and a welcome message from the WiTech President, Ninya Villasin, an energizer kicked off a day of fun activities for the girls.

A highlight of the event was the turnover of donated goods to DSWD representatives. These donations, collected through the "Bigay Biyaya, Hatid Ligaya" drive, included a significant contribution from the program's major supporter, National Economic Development and Authority (NEDA) Region VIII.

The day concluded with a heartfelt closing message from WiTech Chapter Coordinator, Cliche Garciano, leaving a lasting impact on both the volunteers and the girls of the DSWD Home.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 Today, WiTech Leyte pauses to honor the 128th anniversary of Dr. José Rizal’s sacrifice. On December 30, 1896, he faced his death with unshakable courage, leaving us with his final words, “Consummatum est”—it is finished.

His story is a reminder of the strength that comes from education, hope, and action. As we reflect on his legacy, this serves as a hallmark of our inspiration to continue building a future rooted in progress, curiosity, and the same unwavering belief in a better tomorrow.
