As part of its ongoing commitment to campus safety and disaster readiness, Kalinga State Universityโ€“Laboratory High School conductd Project S.A.F.E.(Safety Awarenes for Fire and Earthquake): Enhancing the Disaster Response of KSU-Laboratory High School last January 22, 2026, through the joint efforts of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) and the Student Body Organization of KSU-LHS officers.

The activity was carried out with the guidance and professional assistance of the Bureau of Fire Protection โ€“ City of Tabuk, headed by Fire Officer II Candy O Bais, with Fire Officer I Grether Hart S Aggalao and Fire Officer I Alia Phylian L Licudine, who provided practical demonstrations and instructions on fire prevention, emergency evacuation, proper handling of fire extinguishers, and appropriate actions during earthquake scenarios, including the โ€œDuck, Cover, and Holdโ€ procedure.

Project S.A.F.E. served a an important learning experience for students and personnel, emphasizing the value of preparedness, awarenss, and calm response during emergency situations. The activity reinforced the schoolโ€™s commitment to creating a safe, disciplined, and resilient learning environment.

The YES-O/Science Club together with the various clubs and organizations of Kalinga State University Laboratory High School, joined forces once again on the 7th of November 2025 to make our schools surroundings cleaner and greener.

The KSU-LHS Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) and Science Club proudly participated in the Student Convergent Seminar held on October 16, 2025, at M-Hotel, Tabuk City, organized by the City Special Concerns Office, Youth United for Peace Organization, and City Local Youth Development Office.

The activity aimed to enhance youth leadership and awareness through informative discussions on S*x Education, Teenage Pregnancy Prevention, Career Guidance, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, and Emergency Health Preparedness, led by experts from the City Government of Tabuk and the Philippine Red Cross โ€“ Kalinga Chapter.

Representing KSU-LHS with pride, the YES-O and Science Club and other organization leaders gained not only knowledge but also a deeper sense of purpose as young advocates for environmental stewardship, student empowerment, and community service.

The organization extends its gratitude to the Youth United for Peace Organization (YUP-O) President, Mr. Zian Tallongon and to the City Government of Tabuk, Mr. Glen Wansi, and all facilitators for making this learning experience possible. Truly, it was a day filled with learning, connection, and inspiration for every aspiring leader.

What an incredible two days we had at the KSU-Laboratory High School Intramurals, September 18โ€“19. With this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œIgnite the G.O.L.D.E.N. Spirit: Games of Leadership, Discipline, Excellence, and Nobility,โ€ truly came to life through every game, every cheer, and every moment of teamwork and sportsmanship.

From the first whistle to the final buzzer, students showed what it means to lead with heart, compete with discipline, and strive for excellence, all while honoring the spirit of nobility that makes our school community so special. Whether on the court, the field, or cheering from the sidelines, everyone brought their best and made memories that will last a lifetime.

It was inspiring to see how sports can unite us, push us to be better, and remind us that true victory isnโ€™t just about winning, itโ€™s about lifting each other up and showing respect in every play.

Right after the exciting Orientation Day of KSU-Laboratory High School last July 29, 2025, students showed up and showed out as we held the official Election Day for our Youth for Environment in School's Organization(YES-O) and Science Club officers, alongside the elections of other amazing school clubs/organizations.

It was more than just casting votes, it was a day of student voices, unity, and fresh starts. From curious first-timers to passionate returnees, everyone played a part in shaping whatโ€™s ahead.
