The 𝐔𝐀𝐏 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 proudly participated in the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢-𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐫. This 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 between the UAP Kalinga Chico River Chapter and the Provincial Nutrition Committee–Kalinga embodies the UAP Long-Range Plan, particularly the "Be Seen" core direction—one of the ten strategic pillars that encourages architects to be visible through meaningful community engagement, public service, and professional excellence. It also reflects the spirit of "Stronger Together," fostering partnerships that create lasting and positive impact in our communities.

The UAP Kalinga Chico River Chapter extends its sincere gratitude to the Provincial Nutrition Committee–Kalinga for their trust and for the opportunity to collaborate in this worthwhile initiative. The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) – Kalinga Chico River Chapter successfully held its First General Membership Meeting for Fiscal Year 2026–2027, bringing together members to officially begin another year of service, collaboration, and growth.

The meeting featured the presentation of the chapter's long-term direction, calendar of activities, committees, and upcoming programs, along with discussions on key board resolutions and initiatives aimed at strengthening member engagement and advancing the architectural profession in Kalinga.

With renewed commitment and a shared vision, KCR continues to move forward—empowering architects, serving the community, and preserving our rich cultural heritage.

The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐔𝐀𝐏) – 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 is deeply honored and humbled to be entrusted by the family of 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐨 𝐀. Alonzo "Ka Kezu" A. Saclag is one of the Philippines' 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 (𝐆𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐬𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐡𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 – 𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐁𝐀), celebrated for his lifelong dedication to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Kalinga people. Through traditional music, dance, indigenous knowledge, and cultural education, he inspired generations and helped bring Kalinga culture to both national and international audiences.

As architects and fellow YKalinga, we accept this responsibility with humility and deep respect. This undertaking is more than an architectural project—it is our tribute to a cultural icon whose legacy will continue to inspire generations. We are committed to creating a gravesite and memorial monument worthy of his life, his contributions, and the enduring spirit of the Kalinga people.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Saclag family for their trust and confidence in our chapter. May this memorial at Awichon Cultural Village stand as a lasting symbol of honor, remembrance, and pride for all Kalingas and Filipinos.
