The 2nd Quarterly Joint Meeting was successfully conducted earlier today July 17, 2026 (Friday) at the Sumilao Youth Hub- Vista Villa Satellite, Vista Villa, Sumilao, Bukidnon. Prior to the meeting, SK Chairpersons, Club Presidents, and Representatives from Kisolon assembled at the Sumilao Youth Hub – Main Office by 8:00 AM for proper coordination and departure to the venue. In cases where Presidents were unable to attend, duly designated representatives actively joined, ensuring inclusive participation and representation.

The meeting focused on major agenda items: the planning and attendance for the upcoming Municipal and Provincial Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration, and the discussion of other forthcoming youth-related activities and initiatives. The gathering fostered collaboration among youth leaders, strengthening their commitment to collective action and proactive engagement in community development.

Acknowledgment is extended to the Local Government Unit of Sumilao, led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Venice Marie P. Villo, for their unwavering support of youth programs. Also, to the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Sumilao – Council President Hon. Kristia Gwyneth A. Franche for leading the meeting, and to Mr. Julmar G. Moralde, LYDO-Designate, for his dedicated coordination efforts.

The choice of venue at the Vista Villa Satellite Office was intentional, as it serves to promote the area and highlight the space as a truly functional hub open to all youth. This initiative reflects the commitment of the youth sector and local government to provide accessible, inclusive, and empowering spaces for young people in Sumilao.

We are delighted to introduce 𝗝𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 “𝗟𝗮𝗯𝘀” 𝗖. 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗼 as the 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 of the 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 . She will serve as the assigned focal person, dedicated to handling all queries, concerns, and services in the Sumilao Youth Hub – Vista Villa Satellite Office.

As part of the Local Government Unit of Sumilao, Ms. Labs will be your go-to person for any LGU-related matters, especially for those in nearby barangays. Her commitment and passion for service will surely strengthen our efforts in empowering the youth of Sumilao.

This initiative encourages students, learners, and youth leaders nearby to maximize the hub for their educational pursuits, creative thinking, and group activities.

This was made possible through the strong support and leadership of our local officials and youth advocates. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Sumilao led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Venice Marie P. Villo for her vision and commitment to empowering the youth of Sumilao. We also acknowledge the Sangguniang Bayan of Sumilao led by Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. George Jeremy B. Baula, whose guidance and support have been instrumental in realizing this project. Special thanks go to Barangay Captain Hon. Reynaldo A. Cenabre together with the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Vista Villa led by Hon. Ariel O. Gawahan, for their dedication in ensuring that the youth of their community have access to such opportunities. To the efforts of Hon. Kristia Gwyneth A. Franche, SK Federation President of Sumilao, for championing youth empowerment across the municipality. Also, Mr. Julmar G. On July 5, 2026, the 2026 Sidlak Awards: Gabi ng Parangal as part of our 70th Anlaw ta Sumilao: 1st Sidlak Festival shone with gratitude and pride as we honored the youth leaders who serve our community with purpose and compassion. Held at the Municipal Gymnasium in Kisolon, Sumilao, Bukidnon. This awards night celebrated exemplary public service and the spirit that keeps Sumilao moving forward: From the Roots of our Past, the Light still Rises.
