ATTENTION ALL "PAGLAUM" LGU SILAGO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM BENEFICIARIES 📢

Please be advised that the distribution of the PAGLAUM Scholarship Cash Assistance will take place TOMORROW, August 21, 2026, 8:00 AM at the Municipal Auditorium, Silago, Southern Leyte.

DRESS CODE REQUIREMENT:
All LGU scholars are REQUIRED to wear a WHITE SHIRT on the day of the distribution.

REQUIREMENTS & IDENTIFICATION:
All scholars are requested to bring a photocopy of the updated School ID (with 3 signatures).

FOR REPRESENTATIVES / PROXY CLAIMANTS:
Scholars who cannot personally attend and claim the financial assistance must provide their authorized representative with the following documents:
Signed Authorization Letter from the scholar
Photocopy of the Scholar's Student ID (with 3 signatures)

Note: If your School ID is currently unavailable, you may bring a photocopy of your Birth Certificate instead.

Please arrive on time. Kindly spread the word to your fellow scholars.

𝐖𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐄 | 𝐋𝐧𝐊 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of the Municipality of Silago, in collaboration with the Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK), led by PPSK President Hon. Honey Pie O. Tagon; Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), led by Sir Alfie C. Almine; and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), led by Atty. Chrisa A. Gerong, RSW, MSSW, successfully conducted WEMBOREE | LnK 2026 on August 5–7, 2026, at Barangay Catmon, Silago, Southern Leyte.

The activity was spearheaded through the leadership and guidance of LYDO Designate Engr. Bernie B. Demiao and PPSK President Hon. Honey Pie O. Tagon, with the support and active participation of partner offices and stakeholders. It aimed to provide the youth with meaningful opportunities for learning, leadership, participation, teamwork, and community engagement.

The LYDO extends its sincere gratitude to Municipal Mayor Hon. Lemuel P. Honor for his continued support and commitment to programs and initiatives that promote youth development and empowerment.

We likewise express our appreciation to the Rural Health Unit (RHU), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Philippine National Police (PNP) for their valuable expertise, assistance, and active participation throughout the activity.

Our heartfelt gratitude is also extended to Punong Barangay Hon. Casiano Valerio and the Barangay Officials of Barangay Catmon for their hospitality, provision of the venue, and continued support in ensuring the successful implementation of the activity.

Most importantly, we commend our youth participants and delegates for their active participation, enthusiasm, cooperation, and commitment. Your involvement was instrumental in making WEMBOREE | LnK 2026 a meaningful and successful youth development initiative.
