Basac High - Girl Scouts Celebrated Escoda Day! 💚✨

Last September 19, 2025, the Girl Scouts of Basac National High School, together with the troop leaders, proudly celebrated Escoda Day with the theme: “Once a Girl Scout, Always a Girl Scout.” 🌸

Escoda Day is held every year to honor Josefa Llanes Escoda, the founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. She was not only a visionary leader but also a courageous patriot who dedicated her life to service, empowerment of women, and the development of youth. This celebration reminds every Girl Scout of their lifelong duty to live by the Girl Scout Promise and Law — to serve God, country, and others with courage and compassion.

Through this event, the Basac High Girl Scouts strengthened their bond of sisterhood, leadership, and service, carrying on the legacy of Josefa Llanes Escoda. ✨💪🌍

A greener tomorrow begins with small hands planting today |

The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of Basac National High School actively participated in the school beautification program by planting spider plants along the roadside of the campus. This meaningful activity, held as part of their Friday scouting activity, promotes environmental stewardship and school pride.
Daily watering and plant care have also become part of their commitment to help these plants thrive and beautify the surroundings. 🌱💧

From June 9 to 13, 2025, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of Basac National High School actively took part in the Brigada Eskwela, showcasing true Scout spirit through volunteerism, teamwork, and service. With brooms in hand and hearts ready to help, our Scouts played a vital role in preparing the school for the opening of classes.

🌿 GIRL SCOUTS IN ACTION | FLAG CEREMONY FRIDAY 🇵🇭

Last Friday, June 20, the Girl Scouts, together with the Boy Scouts of Basac National High School, led the morning flag-raising ceremony as flag bearers, proudly upholding the spirit of discipline, leadership, and patriotism. Their active participation marked a strong finish to the first week of classes for School Year 2025–2026.
