SIQUIJOR, Philippines โ A follow-up coordination and finalization meeting for AGRIKABATAAN CAMP 2026 was held on May 11, 2026, at the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist in Helen, Larena, Siquijor, bringing together key provincial and national stakeholders to finalize the program design, training components, and sustainability framework of the youth agricultural initiative.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Department of Agriculture โ Siquijor (DAโPATCO), the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) Siquijor, the Office of Hon. Brylle Deeiah T. Quio, the Sanggunian Kabataan Federation led by Hon. Christian Ian Carino, the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), and other partner agencies and technical offices.

Discussions focused on refining the training modules of AGRIKABATAAN CAMP 2026 to ensure that they directly address the needs of young farmers, agricultural students, and youth leaders across the province.
The program is set to include agricultural foundation training, farm-based specialization tracks, leadership and organizational development, disaster preparedness and resilience training, and hands-on farm exposure activities.

Partners highlighted that AGRIKABATAAN CAMP 2026 is envisioned not just as a training activity, but as a continuing platform for youth empowerment and agricultural development in Siquijor.
