𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗛 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗖𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗔 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣

As part of the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮’𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 celebration, Subang Philippines National Executive President 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗖. 𝗘𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗼 served as Training and Resource Speaker for “𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼: 𝗔 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵” on August 26, 2026.

The workshop brought together students from participating secondary schools in Larena for a hands-on learning session covering pre-production, production, and post-production, equipping young participants with practical skills in storytelling, screenplay development, cinematography, directing, audio production, editing, and visual storytelling.

Anchored in the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲, “𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀,” the workshop encouraged young people to recognize the power of their own experiences and perspectives while using film as a creative platform for expressing shared aspirations, youth concerns, and community stories.

Following a Learn-Do-Refine methodology, participants transformed their ideas into short film scenes through collaborative writing, shooting, and editing exercises.

The engagement highlights Subang Philippines’ continuing commitment to youth empowerment through creativity, communication, skills development, and meaningful community participation.

ENRIQUE VILLANUEVA, SIQUIJOR — August 9, 2026. — Subang Enrique Villanueva took the lead in a coastal cleanup activity held today at Lomangkapan, Enrique Villanueva, Siquijor, mobilizing volunteers and community partners in a collective effort to protect and preserve the municipality’s coastal environment.

Led by Team Leader Juliene Abordo, the activity brought together members and volunteers of Subang Enrique Villanueva, who actively participated in cleaning the shoreline and removing waste from the coastal area.

The initiative reflects Subang Enrique Villanueva’s commitment to volunteerism and environmental responsibility, strengthening its role as a youth-led community organization that encourages people to take action for their community and environment.

Subang Enrique Villanueva extends its sincere appreciation to the Local Government Unit of Enrique Villanueva (LGU EV) and the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) for their support and partnership in making the activity possible.

The team also expresses its gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection – Enrique Villanueva (BFP EV) and the Lomangkapan Barangay Council for their active participation and continued support.

The coastal cleanup serves as a reminder that protecting Siquijor’s environment is a shared responsibility. Through sustained volunteer action, Subang Enrique Villanueva continues to inspire individuals and communities to take part in meaningful initiatives that create a cleaner and more sustainable Siquijor.
