✨ Footprints of Hope 2025 ✨

This year, the Rotary Club of Siquijor Central has walked hand in hand with our community, leaving behind footprints that carry hope, compassion, and service. 🌿💙

From giving school supplies to students, to bloodletting drives that save lives, to supporting diocesan schools with laptops, and spreading cancer awareness, each act is a reminder that when we serve, we plant seeds of change that grow far beyond ourselves. 🌸

These are not just projects, they are promises, promises that Rotary will always be here to serve above self, and to bring light where it’s needed most.

Let’s continue walking together, leaving more Footprints of Hope for the future. 💛

Last Saturday, September 20, 2025, we had the honor of welcoming our District Governor Angel “Jong” Fernandez, Jr. to Siquijor. 🌺🤝

It was a meaningful day filled with fellowship, inspiration, and a renewed commitment to serve our community through Rotary. 💙💛 Together, we continue to create hope and make a difference. 🌍💡

As of September 15, 2025, the Rotary Club of Siquijor Central, in partnership with OM TSUSHO, Mr. Mutsuo Okamura, and Rotarian Tosh*to Dagman Harada, has successfully distributed 30 laptops to the following schools in Siquijor:

• 📍 Ave Maria Academy
• 📍 St. Isidore Catholic School
• 📍 St. Vincent Academy

Each school received 10 laptops, empowering students with the tools they need for digital learning and brighter opportunities. 🌍✨

And this is just the beginning! On September 19, 2025, another 30 laptops will be turned over to three more schools, further extending the gift of knowledge and hope across the province.This initiative reflects Rotary’s timeless motto of Service Above Self and this year’s inspiring theme Unite for Good—reminding us that when we work together, we can change lives and create a stronger future for our youth. 💖

💖🌸 Partners in Hope, Healing, and Health 🌸💖

On September 6, 2025, the Rotary Club of Siquijor Central, together with the Philippine Society of Medical Oncology, the Department of Health, and the LGU of Larena, proudly launched the Barangayan sa Siquijor: Healthcare Worker Cancer Awareness Caravan.

👩‍⚕️ This meaningful project gathered doctors from all over the Philippines, barangay health workers, and cancer survivors to share knowledge on cancer prevention, screening, treatment, and holistic care—empowering communities with awareness and hope.

✨ With unity and compassion, we continue our mission of Service Above Self, reaching out to save lives, spread awareness, and strengthen the fight against cancer for every Siquijodnon.

🙏 Thank you to our partners and participants for making this day a success. Together, we are stronger in health, healing, and hope.
