Commitment is more than simply having good intentions โ€” it is the daily decision to remain faithful even when progress feels slow.

Those who continue to persevere with discipline, prayer, and consistency are often the ones God strengthens to fulfill their purpose. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Keep showing up.
Keep trusting God.
Keep walking in obedience even when no one notices yet.

The seeds you faithfully nurture today can become tomorrowโ€™s testimony. ๐Ÿ™

Not all schools have care centers; DepEd should prioritize funding their construction in the national budget to ensure every learner has access to proper care and support.

Pampanga is facing a dangerous heat spike this afternoon, May 11, 2026. By 2:00 PM, the "RealFeel" temperature will scream past 43ยฐCโ€“45ยฐC, turning the air into a furnace that pushes the human body toward total physical collapse and heatstroke.

With a very high UV index of 7.8, the sun isn't just bright today, it is a hazard to your skin and internal organs. There is no escape coming, the 34% humidity is locking the heat in, and the 7% chance of rain means no rescue from this swelter.

Do not gamble with your life. Retreat indoors, find shade, and force fluids into your system immediately before your body shuts down.

We remember our why. We remember it in the third-grader who finally read a chapter book on his own and ran across the room to tell us. In the eighth-grader who came in before homeroom to say her science project actually worked. In the kindergartener who clung to our leg at dismissal because she wasn't ready to leave.

That's not the problem. That has never been the problem.

The problem is a system that keeps loading more onto teachers and calling it self-care when we ask for help. New initiative. New curriculum. New PD module. New behavior framework. New data dashboard. New testing window. A new required training that has to happen during your prep, your lunch, or after dismissal because there's nowhere else to put it.

You can't yoga your way out of an unworkable schedule. You can't manifest through fifteen IEP meetings in two weeks. You can't gratitude-journal past a sub system that just sent you a math sub for your science class on the day of the unit test.

The "remember your why" speech worked on a younger version of us. We were 30. We were bright-eyed. We could fold ourselves around whatever the building needed and bounce back by morning. The speech stopped working somewhere around year eight, when "whatever the building needed" had quietly become the equivalent of two extra jobs and the building forgot how to say thank you.

We don't need another inspirational quote on a coffee mug. We need PD that respects our time. A planning period that isn't carved up by coverage. An admin who reads the room before hitting forward. A district office that asks teachers what we actually need before deciding for us. A school board that remembers what a Tuesday in February actually looks like in a classroom.

Self-care helps. System care fixes.

We have our why. The system needs to find its.

Tell me I'm not the only one.
