Yesterday, November 16, 2025, by Godโ€™s grace, we were blessed to serve 143 patients at Barangay Inchican, Silang, Cavite. This mission was more than just an outreach, it was a testimony of compassion, bayanihan, and Godโ€™s faithfulness working through many dedicated hearts.

Our deepest gratitude to Barangay Captain Renilyn Marqueses and the amazing Barangay Health Workers for their leadership, support, and warm hospitality. Thank you as well to Muzon SDA Church, led by Pastor Eliezer Gabrido, Pastor Ervin Aparri Lahoylahoy, and Elder Marilou Ardeza, for partnering with us and providing food and resources for our volunteers.

This medical mission was made possible through the generosity of our kind-hearted individuals and partners:
Mrs. Jemima Orillosa, Dra. Percida Cocos, Dra. Pinky Colacion, Dra. Linda-Lim Varona, the Malagar family, Dra. Carolyn Joy Rosas-Felicen, Muzon SDA Church, and the AUP Medicine Student Council. Your support brought healing, hope, and comfort to the community.

And to our MMSR members, thank you for showing up with perseverance and willingness, braving fluctuating weather, busy schedules, and the demands of med school, yet always ready to serve.

Each group once again visited more than two households, reaching out to families and individuals to take their vital signs and perform a quick, focused check-up while sharing helpful health information. While yesterdayโ€™s skies were gloomy, ๐ญ๐จ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐›๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ž. Despite the heat, our spirits remained high as we were blessed with the opportunity to serve and assess even more residents. ๐’๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฅ๐ญ ๐ก๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ข๐ซ ๐›๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐œ๐ก๐ž๐œ๐ค๐ž๐, but after seeing others participate, they too opened up and learned valuable insights about their health through our MMSR membersโ€™ guidance. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿฉบ

There was even a fun moment when ๐š ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ž๐ โ€” people lined up with smiles, curious about their blood pressure, and we gladly assisted them.

๐–๐ž ๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ž๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฌโ€”from children to the elderlyโ€”and each encounter reminded us of our calling. We were genuinely inspired and motivated to become the physician-missionaries God wants us to be, serving with both skill and compassion. ๐Ÿ™โœจ

Each group visited more than two households, listened to the residentsโ€™ health concerns, performed short history taking, checked vital signs, and conducted brief focused physical examinations. ๐Ÿฉบ

We also shared health information and simple advice to help ease their discomfort, and distributed pamphlets about ๐ก๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ข๐š๐›๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐งโ€”the top three health concerns identified in our previous survey. In addition, we introduced ๐๐„๐–๐’๐“๐€๐‘๐“, a lifestyle program that promotes holistic wellness through nutrition, exercise, water, sunlight, temperance, air, rest, and trust in God. ๐ŸŒฟโ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ™
