NBL Cavite invites basketball referees and game officials from across the province to take part in the 2026 Referees Refresher Course & Accreditation, organized by the PHIL-ASIA Basketball Federation (PABF), Inc. and BAP Region IV-A & IV-B.

The program will be conducted by Daniel M. Fabello, President/Clinician, and Ricardo B. Andres, RC Commissioner/Clinician of BAP Region IV-A & IV-B, covering updated rules and interpretations, officiating mechanics, court judgment, game management, assessment, and accreditation.

The activity will also include PABF Membership Registration & Renewal.

Whether you officiate in barangay leagues, inter-town competitions, school tournaments, or other organized basketball leagues in Cavite, this is an opportunity to refresh your knowledge, sharpen your skills, and strengthen the standard of officiating in our province.

Maguyam crossed the century mark and secured a 101โ€“92 victory over Pooc 1, with standout performances emerging from both teams in a competitive offensive matchup.

Jhustine Olfato led Maguyamโ€™s scoring with 28 points and was equally disruptive on defense with 8 steals. Pjay Umanda orchestrated the offense with 13 assists, while Ace Angeles dominated the glass with a massive 25 rebounds and added 5 blocks to anchor the interior.

For Pooc 1, Mark Ebonia paced the offense with 21 points while also recording 4 steals. Leian Benitez contributed 8 assists and 4 blocks, while Carl Reyes controlled the boards with 18 rebounds.

Maguyamโ€™s statistical leaders delivered in different areas of the floor, combining scoring, distribution, rebounding, and defensive pressure to build the nine-point advantage at the final buzzer.

John Mark Bisen drove Tartariaโ€™s attack with 26 points and 14 assists, while also making his mark defensively with 6 steals. Christian Logronio led the work on the glass with 13 rebounds, and Arlois Sarmiento provided the interior resistance with 5 blocks.

Santolโ€™s Justine Dacillo delivered the gameโ€™s highest scoring output with 32 points and added 4 blocks. Jayvee Vidal facilitated the offense with 10 assists, Tristan Luberia collected 12 rebounds, and Paul Mojica matched the game-high with 6 steals.

Ipil 1 broke the century mark and walked away with a 101โ€“88 victory over Lucsuhin, but both sides produced standout numbers across the stat sheet.

Khobie Saracanlao powered Ipil 1 with 22 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds, setting the pace in three major categories. Defensively, Stephen Tacaldo created havoc with 7 steals, while Andrienne Ricalde controlled the paint with 5 blocks.

Lucsuhin countered with several game-high performances. Joshua Rasala led all scorers with 28 points, while John Mark Batino recorded 12 assists and 9 steals. Joshua Lasala delivered inside with 11 rebounds and 6 blocks, giving Lucsuhin a strong presence around the rim.

The individual numbers were impressive on both ends, but Ipil 1 turned its collective production into separation on the scoreboard and a 13-point victory.
