ALABEL, SARANGANI β On September 3, 2025, the Sarangani Police Provincial Office (SPPO) formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Peopleβs Organization for Peace and Development (POPD) Sarangani Chapter at Brgy. Kawas.
The signing, led by Acting Provincial Director PCOL Jerone Orville P. Panganiban and POPD President Danny D. Donato, marks a strengthened partnership in the fight against criminality. This collaboration coincided with National Crime Prevention Week 2025, focusing on the theme of localized governance for safer communities.

Unified Strategy: Both parties committed to mutual support in suppressing lawlessness within the province.
Community Support: Brgy. Chairperson Francisco L. Lubustro emphasized the vital role of "force multipliers" and LGU collaboration.
Legal Empowerment: Following the ceremony, the Provincial Legal Office conducted lectures on the legalities of warrantless arrests (Rule 113), tactical arresting techniques, and the salient points of RA 9262 (VAWC).
