As part of their leadership development and governance program, the Lun Padidu Junior Officials (LPJO) Batch Sikhay formally commenced their Parliamentary Procedure Session, providing the young leaders with a practical experience in legislative processes and democratic decision-making.

During the session, the junior officials actively participated in parliamentary proceedings and presented their proposed resolutions addressing various concerns and initiatives relevant to the youth and the community. Through deliberations, discussions, and formal presentations, the participants demonstrated their understanding of legislative protocols, public speaking, and policymaking.

The activity served as an avenue for the junior officials to apply the principles of parliamentary procedure while strengthening their skills in leadership, critical thinking, collaboration, and public service. It also highlighted the importance of youth participation in governance and the value of developing solutions through proper legislative processes.

To encourage innovation, leadership, and active participation in community development, the Lun Padidu Junior Officials (LPJO) Batch Sikhay conducted a Project Pitching Session at the Barangay Session Hall, where they presented their proposed programs and initiatives aimed at addressing the needs and concerns of the youth and the wider community.

During the activity, the junior officials formally introduced and defended their respective project proposals before the panels and fellow participants. Each presentation highlighted the project's objectives, implementation strategies, expected outcomes, and potential impact on community development, demonstrating the creativity, commitment, and leadership potential of the young officials.

The project pitching activity served as a platform for the junior officials to apply their knowledge in project planning and public speaking while receiving valuable feedback and guidance from the panels. It also provided an opportunity for meaningful discussions on how youth-led initiatives can contribute to the progress and well-being of Barangay Lun Padidu.

To provide them with a firsthand understanding of the duties and responsibilities of public officials, as well as the processes involved in local legislation and decision-making, the Lun Padidu Junior Officials (LPJO) Batch Sikhay attended the regular session of the Barangay Council on June 4, 2026.

During the session, the junior officials observed parliamentary procedures, deliberations, and the conduct of official business within the legislative body. Through this educational exposure, they gained valuable insights into how resolutions, ordinances, and community concerns are discussed and acted upon by barangay officials in the exercise of local governance.

Following the session, the junior officials participated in a meet-and-greet activity with their respective counterparts and barangay officials, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from their experiences, and gain a deeper appreciation of leadership and public service. The activity served as a meaningful platform for the young leaders to better understand the realities of governance and community leadership.

This enriching experience reflects the commitment of the LPJO Program to develop informed, responsible, and service-oriented youth leaders through practical exposure to government processes and civic engagement.

Last year, we opened doors of opportunity through ๐Ÿ’๐๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š ๐ฌ๐š ๐ˆ๐๐ฌ (Pen, Paper, Pencil, & Pack Bag), a donation drive dedicated to supporting Indigenous People (IP) learners in Sarangani that reached more than 300 beneficiaries. Today, we continue that mission with the same passion and an even stronger commitment to ensure that no learner is left behind.

Through the continuous efforts of the Sarangani Junior Officials Alumni Association (SJOAA), in partnership with the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), the Panlalawigang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK), and others from public and private organizations, we once again launch this meaningful initiative for our IP learners.

This campaign is more than just giving school supplies; it is about giving hope, encouragement, and opportunities for a brighter future. Every donation, every share, and every act of kindness becomes a step toward empowering the youth of Sarangani.

Through various interactive activities and collaborative exercises, participants were given the opportunity to develop effective communication, mutual respect, and a deeper sense of responsibility as future leaders.
