Happening now! PRISM Santo Tomas is attending the Business Proposal Orientation at the Vice Mayor’s Office. 🌈🌈🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

This initiative is part of PRISM’s ongoing commitment to strengthen the organization and create more opportunities for the LGBTQIA+ community. Through this activity, we aim to equip our members with the knowledge and skills needed to develop sustainable livelihood programs that will benefit our brothers and sisters.

We are grateful for the full support of the LGU Santo Tomas, especially the Mayor Ankol Roland Dejesica and the Vice Mayor Inday Luz Dejesica, for empowering our community and helping us move forward with inclusive and impactful initiatives.

✨ PRISM Santo Tomas 🌈 Community Give Back | March 16, 2026 ✨

Last March 16, 2026, the PRISM Santo Tomas, LGBTQIA+ Community, successfully organized a heartwarming outreach program at Purok 6B-1 Day Care Center, Fd. Rd. 2, Tibal-og, Santo Tomas, Davao Del Norte. 💖

This meaningful activity included:
🍝 Pagpakaon sa 30-40 plus kinder pupils with Jollibee spaghetti
🎁 Pagpanghatag og loot bags filled with toys, chocolates, and candies
📖 Storytelling sessions
🎉 Fun games para sa mga kabataan ug ilang ginikanan

Nahimong malampuson ang among activity tungod sa mga maluloy-ong kasing-kasing nga ni-supporta ug ni-sponsor, labi na sa Jollibee spaghetti ug lootbags, ug sa among mga PRISM members nga naghatag sa ilang oras, kusog, ug gugma—headed by our dedicated President Soairse Malaya-Duter uban iyahang mga officers. 💕

Dako pud kaayo among pasalamat kang Ma’am Cabizares, ang teacher sa Day Care Center, for warmly welcoming us into your school.

This outreach is a testament that the LGBTQIA+ community is more than just celebration—we are a community with a purpose. Dili kami sagbot sa katilingban, kundili usa ka grupo nga nagtinguha og pagkahiusa, pagtabang, ug pagpasabot sa tanan nga naa mi dako nga papel sa society. 🌈

Today, PRISM 🌈—an LGBTQIA+ organization of Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte—once again showed love and care for the community pinaagi sa among community give back activity.

Nag-conduct mi og clean-up drive didto sa Uno Sapa River, one of the most known and loved spots diri sa Santo Tomas kung asa daghan ang maligo, magpahulay, ug mag-enjoy sa beauty sa nature. Karong adlawa, among tumong dili lang mag-enjoy, kundi to help protect and preserve our environment.

Uban sa leadership sa among President na si Soairse Malaya-Duterte, nagtinabangay ang PRISM members sa pagpanglimpyo sa lugar. Namunit mi og mga basura sama sa cellophane, plastic bottles, ug uban pang trashes nga makadaot sa atong river ug kalikupan.

Dili lang ni ordinary nga clean-up drive—this is a reminder that we all have a responsibility to take care of our Mother Nature. As one community, we stand not only for equality and inclusivity, but also for environmental awareness and action.

Sa matag basurang among napunit, nagdala kini og hope nga mas daghan pa ang ma-inspire to take part in protecting our environment. 💚

PRISM SANTO TOMAS Community Give Back 🏳️‍🌈
First community outreach, officially launched! 🌈✂️

PRISM proudly sent four of our skilled and expert members to offer FREE HAIRCUT services in celebration of the 45th Founding Anniversary of La Libertad National High School.

This initiative is more than just a haircut — it’s service, solidarity, and community love in action. 💇‍♂️💇‍♀️ Through the talent and generosity of our members, we were able to give back and be part of a milestone celebration that honors education and growth.

We are proud that our very first community involvement reflects what PRISM stands for: empowerment, volunteerism, and meaningful presence beyond our organization.

Here’s to more outreach programs, more partnerships, and more opportunities to serve. 🌈✨

First General Assembly done and dusted — and what a powerful start for our community! 🌈✨

The PRISM (LGBTQIA+ Community Organization of Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte) successfully held its 1st General Assembly last March 1, 2026 at Dejesica Gym, bringing together members united by pride, purpose, and progress.

From official member registration, discussion of our Constitution and By-Laws, to clearly answering “What’s in it for you as a PRISM member?” — every agenda was thoroughly and transparently explained by our dedicated officers. 💼📖

We also talked about:
• The PRISM Office
• Liquidation of Funds
• Budget support from the Vice Mayor’s Office
• Job opportunities for members
• Exciting activities lined up for 2026

Most importantly, the officers made sure every member understood the benefits, responsibilities, and opportunities that come with being part of PRISM — because this organization is not just about belonging, but about empowerment, leadership, and community growth.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the LGU of Santo Tomas for their all-out support. Special thanks to Mayor Angkol Roland Dejesica and Vice Mayor Inday Luz Dejesica for continuously standing with and supporting our organization. Your leadership and commitment to inclusivity mean so much to our community.

This is only the beginning. Stronger together. Louder together. Braver together. 🌈💪
