Fifty years is more than a measure of time—it is a testament to lives touched, communities uplifted, and a legacy built through quiet, consistent acts of service. Today, as we celebrate the 50th Charter Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Santa Maria, we honor not only our history, but the enduring spirit that has carried us through five decades of purpose.

“Service Above Self” has never been just a motto—it has been our compass. It has guided generations of Rotarians to look beyond themselves, to see the needs of others, and to act with compassion, integrity, and resolve. Because of this, what began as a group of committed individuals has grown into a force for meaningful change.

This Rotary year’s theme, Unite For Good, reminds us that our greatest strength lies in our unity. When we come together—across professions, across generations, across communities—we multiply our impact. We become more than volunteers; we become a movement of hope, a network of people determined to leave the world better than we found it.

As we stand at this milestone, we do so with gratitude for those who came before us, pride in what we have accomplished together, and a renewed commitment to the work that lies ahead. The next fifty years will call for the same courage, the same generosity, and the same unwavering belief that service can transform lives.
May we continue to unite for good, to lead with purpose, and to serve above self—today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.

This Easter, as the world continues to face challenges that test our unity and compassion, we are reminded of the enduring message of hope, renewal, and selfless love through the resurrection of Christ.

As Rotarians, we are called to be instruments of that hope, bridging, serving communities in need, and promoting peace in times of uncertainty. In every act of service, we become bearers of light, helping rebuild lives and restore dignity.

May this Easter strengthen our commitment to “Unite for Good,” inspiring us to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Happy Easter to all.

On this Good Friday, we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, a profound act of love that calls us to serve with compassion and integrity.

In the face of today’s global challenges, may His example inspire us, as Rotarians, to be instruments of peace, understanding, and hope in our communities.

May we continue to “Unite for Good” and uphold the values of service above self, especially in times when the world needs it most. ✝️

The Rotary Club of Santa Maria proudly marks a milestone moment with the installation of its 50th Charter Anniversary Billboard, a visible symbol of five decades of service, fellowship, and community impact.

Strategically placed along NLEX Northbound—just after the Lawang Bato overpass in Valenzuela, directly opposite the McDo Drive & Dine—the tarp stands as a bold and inspiring reminder of the Club’s enduring legacy as it approaches its Golden Charter Anniversary Celebration on April 19, 2026.

Carrying this year’s theme, “Unite For Good,” the installation reflects the collective strength and shared purpose of Rotarians, partners, and the community. Under the leadership of Club President Marlo B. Correa, this initiative highlights the unity and continued commitment of the Club to create meaningful and lasting impact. It serves not only as an announcement of the upcoming celebration, but also as a call to action—encouraging everyone who passes by to be part of a greater mission of service above self.

For 50 years, the Rotary Club of Santa Maria has been at the forefront of meaningful initiatives—from medical missions and youth development programs to humanitarian and community-building efforts. This golden milestone celebrates not just the years, but the lives touched and the positive change created through unity and compassion.

As the Club prepares for its historic celebration, the anniversary tarp stands tall as a beacon of pride, gratitude, and commitment—reminding us all that when we Unite For Good, lasting impact is always within reach.
