𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟳-𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 Project Kalinga successfully conducted the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Training at San Lorenzo School, facilitated by the Provincial Health Office and the Department of Health. Bringing together individuals ready to listen, support, and stand for mental health.

But this is more than just a training.

This marks the beginning of something bigger, the establishment of a 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 for the Mental Health Program of the City of San Pedro. A growing network of trained volunteers and advocates committed to creating safe spaces, offering support, and strengthening mental health through community-driven action.

Sa pamamagitan ng volunteerism, we are building a movement kung saan ang bawat isa ay may kakayahang makinig, umunawa, at tumulong.

To our newly trained volunteers: this is just the start. Your presence, your voice, and your compassion matter.

A new collaboration for the well-being of our community is on the way. 💙

𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼 and the 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 in partnership with 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 proudly introduce 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐀 , a joint initiative that aims to empower youth and community members through Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Training.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐀 seeks to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to provide immediate psychological support, promote mental well-being, and respond compassionately to individuals experiencing emotional distress during challenging times.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 is now opening its doors to active youth volunteers who are ready to serve the community through humanitarian leadership, volunteerism, and life-saving skills.

As a non-profit youth organization under the Philippine Red Cross, based in San Pedro, Laguna, we bring together young individuals who want to make a meaningful difference through trainings, outreach activities, and youth-led programs that shape responsible, skilled, and compassionate leaders.

Who can join?
✅Must be a resident of San Pedro City.
✅Must be between 19 to 25 years old.
✅Must be willing to undergo an interview (online or onsite).
✅Must be committed and willing to serve the community.

On February 14, 2026, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 participated in “𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔: 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆’𝒔 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝑷𝑹 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈” conducted by the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐂𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌𝐎) at 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡.

Through this initiative, our volunteers strengthened their commitment to promoting life-saving skills and emergency preparedness within the community. Activities like this empower the youth to respond confidently and effectively when every second counts.

On December 19, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 was honored during the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, where it proudly received the 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐢 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 – 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐥 from the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞.
