The Business as a Noble Vocation Course (BNVC) proposes to the business leader a different
way of looking at business and work that is truly meaningful and fulfilling. It is accompanied by practical applications and personal testimonies by speakers that brings down these teachings to the practical business environment. The program encourages one to b
ring and apply these good
principles back to their companies and organizations. The BNVC was developed by the Institute of Business Transformation (IBT) of the Brotherhood of Christian Business and Professionals (BCBP). We are grateful to UNIAPAC INTERNATIONAL and its former President Rolando Medeiros, for
being instrumental in providing inspiration and encouragement in the development of the
Business as a Noble Vocation Course and for providing the needed materials that formed the
basis for the development of the course.

The Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP), was formed by the Ligaya
Ng Panginoon Renewal Community in 1980 as a way to bring businessmen into adult Christian
conversion, so that that they can influence the workplace and professions with the values of
Jesus Christ. Our community is predominantly Catholic and our foundation rests firmly in the teachings and
doctrines of our Catholic Faith. However, our organization encourages and fosters inclusivity in the expression of its Vision and
Mission. Our Catholic orientation does not limit us in any way with our collaborative efforts to help the
business person and the enterprise and the business community whom we serve. We in BCBP are usually known through our "Be Honest" advocacy and our BCBP Breakfasts. Since its inception in 1980 today, the BCBP has grown to become a potent force in Market
Evangelization, not only in the Philippines but also in Asia and North America. BCBP today number over 20,000 men and women who are fully committed to living out the
values of Jesus Christ in their personal, professional and community way of life.

In 2016, BCBP was invited to join The International Christian Union of Business Executives, or
UNIAPAC, the worldโs oldest organization of Christian Business Leaders founded in 1931 in
Paris, France. UNIAPAC today gathers business associations in 38 countries all over the world, united in its
desire to promote the vision and implementation of an economy that serves the human person
and the Common Good. UNIAPAC is committed to the world-wide promotion of Business as A Noble Vocation.

Taking inspiration from the material available though UNIAPAC, a rich tradition of Christian
Social Thought and the papal Encyclicals, as reprised in Pope Francisโ Laudato Si, and the
formation and teaching materials available to the BCBP community, the Institute for Business
Transformation was conceptualized to become the means by which the transformation of the
world of business might be realized. The IBT has put together this series of teaching materials for business executives and business
owners to use that they may become cooperators in this noble mission to make the world of
business more humane and for the benefit of society. It is our hope and prayer that working together for the common good will reap richer harvests
for mankind to share Godโs bounty, which He had promised to all His children.
