Osaka Expedition: Fellowship Beyond Borders
The Rotary Club of San Pablo City Osaka Expedition: Fellowship Beyond Borders
The Rotary Club of San Pablo City South embarked on a memorable Osaka Expedition filled with friendship, cultural discovery, and meaningful Rotary fellowship.
The delegation was headed by Club President Jun Arana, together with IPP Archie Cabrera, PP Jacy Gatchalian, PP Gel Adriano, PP Titong Felismino, PP Alex Tirao, and Rtn. JR Peres. The team was warmly welcomed by President Kiriyama, PP Nishiura, and the members of the Rotary Club of Osaka Tennoji.
During the fellowship gathering, President Jun and IPP Archie delivered heartfelt speeches expressing the club’s sincere gratitude for the continued support of its sister club—particularly for the Handwash Project, which has helped provide safer, healthier, and more hygienic facilities for students and communities in San Pablo City.
As a symbol of appreciation and enduring friendship, the delegation presented a token of gratitude to President Kiriyama and PP Nishiura.
The moment reflected the true spirit of Rotary: clubs from different countries working together to create lasting impact while building friendships that go beyond borders.
Beyond the official Rotary activities, the Osaka Expedition became a vibrant celebration of camaraderie. From sharing stories and laughter around the table to discovering the energy, cuisine, and colorful streets of Osaka, every experience strengthened the bond between the two sister clubs.
The journey continues as the team explores more of Japan, including the historic city of Nara and the timeless beauty of Kyoto. With every destination, the delegation carries the warmth of Filipino fellowship and the shared Rotary commitment to service, friendship, and international understanding.
This is more than a trip—it is a journey of purpose, discovery, and Rotary camaraderie. Osaka may be the starting point, but the friendships and memories created along the way will travel much farther.
