DI**LE, Iloilo โ To prepare upcoming graduates for the workforce, ISUFST - Di**le Campus held a "Career Talk-Fair and Personality Development" seminar at the PTEA Hall today, May 19, 2026.
The four-hour event, spearheaded by the Student Support Center and the Guidance and Testing Office, themed "Navigate. Build. Thrive: Charting Your Course from Campus to Career and Beyond," featured three faculty resource speakers.
Dr. Joanne A. Alada, College of Education faculty and Golden Grains Publication adviser, discussed application and resumรฉ writing. She explained the differences between chronological and functional resumรฉs, as well as solicited and unsolicited applications, highlighting that mastering these written materials is critical to securing employment.
Asst. Prof. Valyn V. Dayandayan-Maestre focused on professional character and long-term career development, offering frameworks for transitioning from academe to industry and setting measurable goals.
Ms. Junna Mari G. Pacardo, a Registered Guidance Counselor from ISUFST-San Enrique, ended the lectures by encouraging students to redefine success, normalize transitional uncertainty, and build "pivot-ready" skills to remain resilient in shifting environments.
Through initiative-driven events such as this seminar, ISUFST-Di**le underscores its commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically competent but also holistically prepared, professional, and adaptive to the demands of the modern workforce.
