Tinatayang ₱35,000,000 ang kabuuang pondo para sa pagpapaunlad ng kabataan sa San Mateo, mula sa pinagsama-samang budget ng lahat ng Sangguniang Kabataan sa ating bayan. Dahil dito, naniniwala kami na ang ating mga lider-kabataan ay dapat handa, may kakayahan, at may gabay mula sa Pamahalaang Bayan.

Sang-ayon tayo sa prinsipyo ni Secretary Jesse Robredo na hindi sapat ang pagiging mabuti ng isang lider. Kailangan ng mga sistema na tumutulong at nagtutulak sa atin upang maging mas mahusay, matapat, at makabuluhan ang ating serbisyo. Nagsisimula ito sa kamalayan, kasanayan, at kapasidad.

Kaya ngayong mga darating na buwan, maglulunsad tayo ng mga aktibidad para sa mga kabataang may hangaring magsilbi sa higit 60,000 kabataan ng San Mateo. Oorganisahin natin ang Project Ready to Serve: Cap Dev Series for SK Aspirants and San Mateo Youth Watch for Good Gov. Kasama rito ang mga training para sa mga nais maging Youth Watch for Good Governance — mga kabataang gustong tumulong sa pagsigurong maayos at tapat ang takbo ng pamamahala at paggamit ng pondo ng SK.
