A LUCKY BROTHER AND COUSIN OF THE NOBLE SOLDIERS:
A lucky Brother of CPT Ruben C Caliwatan MAC (R) and a cousin of CPT Julita C Bayaga MAC (R) inspired by my two (2) nephews, Mark John Alben and Alfred Lu to join and organize a corporation with an objective assisting their parent’s activities in concurrence to medical missions they supported/conducted ever since their parents joined the Armed Fo
rces of the Philippines Reserve Command in the year2005. I happen to appreciate their splendid ideas so; I help them establish the corporation coupled with my aspiration of seeing my brother and cousin progressing and success in performing humanitarian service to our fellowmen, rain or shine all years round. What a noble work for the GLORY OF HIS HIGHNESS... I come to decide and finally convinced to help my nephews establish the corporation; thereby it came to reality. Caliwatan the present President of the Corporation. THE TWO (2) PROUD SONS OF THE UNSUNG HEROES:
Our parents are members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserved Command for almost 12 years now, who started from the rank of Non-Commissioned Officers for five years prior to their Commissionship; they are still on the go spending their precious time and financial support to their mission of conducting medical missions with an objectives of reaching and serving the marginalized sector of the society through the provision of goods, quality service . They always remember the principles of “it is better to give than to receive” and the verses from the bible saying “remember that what you did to the least of my brethren, you did to me”.
“ We still remember that whenever we asked them the location of their mission, they would only replied, SECRET, instead of telling us the truth they will only tell us, they will again do service to our fellow brothers and sisters in remote areas, in a place where almost Nobody remembers. “
“One time, we remember they arrived telling us that its good luck they were able to come back home safe and sound, because they served people in the area where heavily infiltrated and infested by other members of society.”
People never know how dignified our parents are, they never fails. They always said, LIFE IS SHORT SO WE NEED TO GIVE THE BEST OF IT, and sometime they told us that we will pass this way once so, whatever good we can give to our fellowmen do it without reservation, because we will not pass this way again. Humanitarian concern is their utmost idea in life. Sometimes when they cannot personally attend the scheduled medical mission due to time constrain brought about by their office works they usually send their very own resources that would provide and supplement the logistics for the said medical mission. They deserve to be called UNSUNG HEROES not because they are our parents but because they deserve to be called as such; our IDOLs in life. Bayaga, MAC, MPM (R) Hospital Administrator, called her the Supervising Administrative Officer; I’am Alfred Lu C. Bayaga the present Treasurer of the organization. My Parent (my Dad) is CPT Ruben C. Caliwatan, MAC (R) a Psychologist by profession; I’m Mark John Alben M. Caliwatan the present Secretary of the organization. Both of us Alfred Lu C. Bayaga and Mark John Alben M. Caliwatan are very proud to have parents like them.
