SJROA and AHLRO Mission Accomplished in New York!

We are pleased to share the successful participation of SJROA at the Philippine Independence Day Celebration in New York City—where San Juan, Batangas was proudly showcased to a global audience.

The AHLRO booth served as a meaningful platform for direct engagement with Filipinos and international guests, generating strong interest in San Juan as a tourism destination.

SJROA President Ms. Simonette V. Gusi and Acuatico Beach Resort General Manager Ms. Patricia V. Gusi, were with Ms Corie Danan in the the full-day distribution of the San Juan Visitor Guide Book. Their presence ensured that every visitor encounter was personal, informative while promoting San Juan and the member resorts.

This initiative was made possible through the valued support of SJROA resort owners who placed advertisements in the Visitor Guide Book, as well as the Municipal Tourism Office of San Juan, Batangas, headed by Ms. Elsie Iyas-Sadsad, Chief Tourism Operations Officer, whose continued partnership strengthens our tourism promotion efforts.

We were also honored by the presence of Hon. Mayor Ildebrando D. Salud and the official delegation of San Juan, Batangas, whose visit to the booth and active participation in distributing materials reinforced the spirit of unity behind our tourism initiatives.

With strong engagement achieved and San Juan, Batangas clearly gaining attention and interest from both Filipino and international guests, this New York mission stands as a successful collective effort—showing what we can accomplish when our resort owners and Municipal Tourism Office work together with a shared vision of positioning San Juan, Batangas as a premier tourism destination.

𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝟬𝟭-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The opening of the Lifeguard Qualifications Training – Matikas Class 01-2026 was successfully held at Forever Tan Ag Beachside Resort.

Organized through the initiative of the 512th Coast Guard Auxiliary Squadron CGADSTL, in partnership with the Philippine Coast Guard and Coast Guard Sub-Station San Juan, the training aims to develop competent lifeguards equipped with essential skills in water safety, rescue operations, first aid, and emergency response.

Along with the Municipal Tourism Office during the opening ceremony was Mrs. Noralyn Nera of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), showing support for initiatives that promote water safety and community preparedness.

Congratulations to all organizers, trainers, and participants as they begin this meaningful and lifesaving training program.

Proudly carrying the colors, culture, and spirit of San Juan, Batangas, the Municipality’s float made its way along Madison Avenue during the 128th Philippine Independence Day Parade in New York City.

Led by Mayor Ildebrando D. Salud, the San Juan delegation showcased the town’s rich heritage, vibrant tourism destinations, and the warmth of the Juanderful community to thousands of spectators from around the world.

From the heart of Batangas to the streets of New York, San Juan continues to promote Filipino pride and share its unique story with the global Filipino community.

Patuloy ang pag-ukit ng kasaysayan ng Bayan ng San Juan, Batangas matapos ang paglahok nito sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon sa 128th Philippine Independence Day Celebration sa New York City, USA.

Pinangunahan ni MAYOR ILDEBRANDO D. SALUD ang delegasyon ng LGU San Juan sa Philippine Consulate sa New York City kasama sina Sangguniang Bayan Members Kon. Angelo Luis Marasigan (Committee on Tourism, Culture, and the Arts Chairperson) at Kon. Shalimar Salud, Chief Tourism Operations Officer Elsie Iyas-Sadsad, Unang Ginang ng Bayan at Samahang Batangueña President Gina R. Salud, ilan pang kawani ng pamahalaang bayan, at San Juan Resort Owners’ Association (SJROA) President Simonette Gusi.

Ang paglahok na ito ay nagsisilbing mahalagang hakbang sa higit pang pagpapalawak ng turismo, kultura, at pagkakakilanlan ng San Juan sa pandaigdigang komunidad at entablado.

Isa sa mga tampok na aktibidad ngayong araw ay ang paglulunsad ng Official Traveler’s Guide Book ng San Juan sa Philippine Consulate, na inilathala ng SJROA at suportado ng lokal na pamahalaan sa pamamagitan ng Municipal Tourism Office. Layunin ng nasabing gabay na ipakilala sa mas maraming lokal at dayuhang turista ang mga natatanging destinasyon at resort, pagkain, maging kultura at mga karanasang maipagmamalaki ng San Juan.

Patunay ang makasaysayang partisipasyon ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng San Juan sa selebrasyon sa New York City, USA ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng lokal na pamahalaan na itaguyod ang bayan bilang pangunahing destinasyon sa turismo at pamumuhunan, habang ipinagmamalaki ang mayamang kultura at galing ng mga San Juaneño sa pandaigdigang entablado.
