1. What is AMSLI?
Answer: Asian MathSci League, Inc. (AMSLI) is a nonstock nonprofit organization of math and science enthusiasts registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (Reg. No CN201713530), incorporated. The organization aims to enhance the skills of Filipino teachers and students in Mathematics, Science, and Informatics.

2. Will there be a registration fee?
Answer: No. The training is absolutely free. Just show up and show your enthusiasm for learning.
3. What subject/s are covered in the training?
Answer: Only Mathematics will be discussed in the training, which covers competencies for Grades 1-12.
4. Is the accommodation covered for the training?
Answer: No, sadly, the accommodation must be shouldered by the participants.
5. Will there be meals during the training?
Answer: Yes, snacks will be served on Day 1, both in the morning and in the afternoon. Lunch will also be served on Day 1. Only morning snacks will be available on Day 2, as it is a half-day session only.
6. What do I need to bring?
Answer: Training kits will be provided in the Workshop. Just bring your valuables.
7. Does the training carry CPD Units?
Answer: No. However, the training purposes to give you insights on how differently Mathematics is taught and delivered- exposing learners to high-level Mathematics and competitions locally and internationally.
8. Can I attend the training even if I am not working in a Public School?
Answer: Yes, both public and private school teachers are encouraged to join in the Free Teacher Training. We will be happy to see you there.
9. Can I attend to only 1 day of the 2-day training?
Answer: It will be disadvantage on one’s part to miss out on a significant number of sessions. An assessment will be done on the 2nd day and your scores might be affected entirely.
10. Will there be an Assessment after the training?
Answer: Yes, there is a post-assessment after the training. This 2-day training will focus on content, problem-solving strategies, and computational thinking. The assessment will be given on the 2nd day to determine the qualified teachers for the Phase 2 of the training which will be a 10-Saturday training by mentoring top students from public and private schools.
