KNOW IT? LAW IT! ⚖️
𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪? 🤔 Republic Act No. 9125— Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park Act (2001)—It bans logging, mining, and wildlife exploitation, while respecting the rights of indigenous communities to live there sustainably.
Other than that the RA 9125 declares the Northern Sierra Madre in Isabela as a protected natural park to preserve its vast rainforests, rich wildlife, and critical ecosystems. It safeguards the region as a vital water source and natural defense against typhoons while respecting the rights of Indigenous and local communities. The law also bans destructive activities like illegal logging and mining to ensure this national treasure remains intact for future generations.
As studens and citizens, understanding laws like this helps us become more 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚, 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚, and 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 members of society. 🏛️
