LOOK | Sister Morales was officially set apart early this morning, May 13, 2026, as a full-time missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and will serve in the Cebu East Philippines Mission for the next 18 months.

Family, friends, and fellow members gathered in support as she begins this sacred missionary journey to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, serve others, and strengthen faith in Him.

As she enters the mission field, prayers and well wishes continue to pour in for her safety, strength, and success in the Lord’s work. Her willingness to answer the Savior’s call stands as an inspiration to the youth and members of the Church.

Congratulations, Sister Morales! May the Lord guide and magnify you throughout your missionary service. 🤍

As we celebrate and remember the incredible women and mothers of the San Francisco Philippines Stake this Mother’s Day, may we continue to be inspired by the uplifting messages of the Stake Presidency.

Their love, faith, sacrifice, and quiet strength remind us of the Christlike influence a mother and every righteous woman can bring into the home, the Church, and the community. Today, we honor and appreciate all the amazing women who continue to nurture, serve, and inspire with love.

LOOK: San Francisco Stake joined Hosanna Shout | May 3, 2026

Members of the Philippines San Francisco Stake News and Updates from various extension areas gathered in unity and reverence to witness the sacred broadcast of the dedication of the Davao Philippines Temple. Dressed in their Sunday best, the Saints came together with grateful hearts, participating in this historic and spiritual occasion despite the distance. The spirit of anticipation and joy filled the chapel as members prepared themselves for this once-in-a-lifetime blessing.

During the solemn assembly, members joined in the sacred Hosanna Shout, waving white handkerchiefs in a powerful expression of gratitude and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. The atmosphere was deeply spiritual, as individuals and families felt a renewed commitment to live worthily and remain steadfast in their covenants. The experience strengthened faith and unity among the members, reminding them of the importance of temples in Heavenly Father’s plan.

The temple was dedicated by Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, who offered a heartfelt dedicatory prayer, inviting the Spirit of the Lord to dwell within the sacred house. His inspired words encouraged members to become more devoted disciples of Christ and to cherish the blessings of temple worship. Truly, this sacred event marked a significant milestone for the Saints in Mindanao, as the Davao Temple stands as a beacon of light, hope, and eternal promises for generations to come.

The Davao Philippines Temple will be dedicated today, May 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

First announced by President Russell M. Nelson in October 2018, the Davao Philippines Temple will be the fifth operating temple in the country.

Stake Youth Conference Update:

Day 3 — Devotional

Day 3 of our Strengthening Youth Conference was filled with peace, reflection, and powerful testimonies as we gathered for a devotional with Brother and Sister Oliverio. Their messages reminded every youth that to truly “walk with Him,” we must choose to follow Jesus Christ daily, not just in big moments, but in the quiet, unseen decisions of our lives.

Through their words, we were invited to strengthen our faith, trust in the Lord’s timing, and stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things. As taught in Moses 6:34, when we choose to walk with the Lord, we are never alone, He walks beside us, guides us, and lifts us.

This devotional was not sacred moment where hearts were touched, testimonies were deepened, and commitments were made. The youth were reminded that they are chosen, capable, and needed in the Lord’s work today.

Padayon ta sa paglakaw uban Niya, because when we walk with Christ, we walk in light, purpose, and eternal direction. 🩵
