A Night of Joy, Gratitude, and Celebration!
Our La Union Bankers Association Christmas Party & Induction Ceremony 2025 has just concluded — and what a wonderful and memorable evening it has been!

To all our Bank Managers, Board of Directors, and Officers and Staff thank you for your presence, your support, and the camaraderie that made tonight truly special. Your commitment to unity and excellence continues to strengthen our LUBA family.

A big thank you as well to Mr. Jan Rei and Dan Vertucio, our energetic and outstanding host. Your energy kept the entire program alive and unforgettable!

We also witnessed the remarkable talents of our members through LUBA Got Talent, and celebrated the elegance of our attendees as we crowned our Male and Female Stars of the Night. ✨

Strengthening Security Through Collaboration
LUBA proudly participated — both face-to-face and via Zoom — in the Regional Joint Anti-Bank Robbery and Cybercrime Coordinating Committee (JABRACCCC) Meeting held at Camp BGen Oscar M. Florendo, San Fernando City, La Union, presided over by PBGEN Dindo R. Reyes, RD, PRO1.

In partnership with PNP PRO1, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP-LU), and representatives from the banking and security sectors, this collaborative effort aims to enhance security measures, strengthen inter-agency coordination, and uphold safety within our financial institutions and communities.

LOOK | LUBA and BSP Hold Successful Blood Letting Activity in Partnership with the Philippine Red Cross

The La Union Bankers Association (LUBA) and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) La Union Branch, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, successfully conducted a Blood Letting Activity on October 17, 2025, at the BSP 3rd Floor Function Hall.

The activity was well-participated by LUBA member banks and BSP employees, all united by one cause — to help save lives through blood donation.

This joint initiative reflects the shared commitment of LUBA and BSP to community service and humanitarian advocacy, demonstrating that together, we can make a lasting impact.

LUBA and BSP extend their sincere appreciation to all donors and partners who contributed to the success of this meaningful event.

LOOK | LUBA Successfully Conducts Tree Planting Activity

The La Union Bankers Association (LUBA) successfully conducted its Tree Planting Activity today, joined by representatives from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), RCBC, Landbank, Bank of Makati, Agribank, Sterling Bank of Asia and Metrobank.

The event highlighted the collective commitment of the banking sector to environmental sustainability and community partnership. LUBA extends its sincere appreciation to the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), headed by Mr. Valmar Valdez, for their invaluable support and collaboration in making this activity a success.

LOOK | LUBA Recognized as BSP Outstanding Stakeholder

The La Union Bankers Association (LUBA) was honored by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as one of its Outstanding Stakeholders during the awarding ceremony held at Monarch Hotel, Hall 3, Waltz Convention Center, Calasiao, Pangasinan.

This prestigious recognition highlights LUBA’s unwavering commitment to excellence, collaboration, and service in the banking community. The award was received by 2025 President Rachelle Joy Apilado, 2024 President Maribel Abuan, and Board of Director Ma’am Teresita Edith Go.

LUBA extends its heartfelt appreciation to Past President Ma’am Maribel Abuan for her exceptional leadership and efforts that paved the way for this achievement, and to Ma’am Madelyn Viernes, BSP Area Manager, for her support and for nominating LUBA for this recognition.

The association likewise congratulates its member banks who also received the BSP Outstanding Stakeholders Award — Landbank San Fernando La Union Branch headed by Ma’am Matlin, and Rang-ay Bank led by Sir Ives Nisce.

LUBA continues to encourage all member banks to remain united and active in all its endeavors toward sustained excellence and service. 💙
