Manuel โNolitโ Aquino, a lawyer of the Rotary Club of San Fernando (LU) Inc. was elected Charter President. The original membership grew over the years. It attained its peak during the Term of Dr. Marvin S. Martinez in RY 1988-1989 when the number of members reached 69, the biggest in the District 3790. Just like other rotary clubs, RC San Fernando North engaged itself in various community and hum
anitarian projects not only in the town of San Fernando, La Union but also in the other towns of the first district of the province. The officers and members were likewise active in the district affairs like DISCON and District Assembly. RC San Fernando North was instrumental in the formation of the Rotary Club of San Juan LU in 1987-1988. Ditto with the Rotary Club of Candon, Ilocos Sur in RY 1988-1989. When the town of San Fernando, La Union was converted into a City on March 20, 1998, the Clubโs Leadership considered changing its name to Rotary Club of San Fernando City North. The change in name was subsequently ratified by the membership and approved by Rotary International in RY 1999-2000 during the presidency of Pablo C. We regularly meet on Thursdays at 7:00pm, at Sea and Sky Restaurant, National Highway, City of San Fernando, La Union, Philippines
